Posted: 13 May 2020 05:06 PM PDT Back in DBZ, it was known for draining your power exceptionally fast. But in DBS, SSJ Blue became the new default Super Saiyan mode. It doesn't seem to showcase the same level of energy drain that SSJ3 did. But if Goku goes SSJ3, despite being weaker than SSJ Blue, would it still drain him quickly? I know it doesn't sound like it makes much sense. [link] [comments]

Could SSJ2 Gohan have beaten Present Cell? Posted: 13 May 2020 09:23 PM PDT So in Trunk's timeline, the Androids were weaker because Gero felt they didn't need to be as strong because the Z Fighters weren't as strong. The Cell that Gohan fought was Future Cell, who would have been weaker than Present Cell. While Future Cell absorbed the Present Androids, his starting power level was much lower. If Present Cell would have absorbed the Present Androids, and then fought Gohan, could Gohan still win? What in general would have changed? [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 May 2020 06:28 PM PDT okay so i have a question: which is the real actual main timeline? because it seems to me that the real timeline is where gohan and goku are dead, is the real timeline the one where gohan just starts school and goku in otherworld or is it just an alternative? Posted: 13 May 2020 05:43 PM PDT Anyone know of other places other than eBay to get the rock the dragon DBZ DVD set? Hoping to get it for my SO but 350$ is a pretty penny. Doesn't need to be mint as she actually would want to use it. [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 May 2020 09:11 PM PDT I have thought a lot about this topic, is Ultra Instinct a transformation, or a technique. Now before you keep scrolling, hear me out. Read the whole thing before judging me. If you believe Ultra Instinct is a technique, you are right. If you believe Ultra Instinct is a transformation, you are right. I think that it is both. It is a technique because when Whis uses it, he doesn't have any energy emitting off of him, and we know that the angels are the furthest evolved with this technique so hes at pretty much full mastery of UI. From what I know this can be turned into a automatic thing, like back in the Cell saga when they made SSj as easy as breathing, I think to take it as far as the angels have taken it, they'd have to do the same thing. Now the transformation piece. This get a little complicated. Because Goku first got his transformation when he was in SSjSSG, and because of that, this may be the part of the transformation. I think he fused UI and SSj Blue, giving him the hints of blue in the aura. Not only that, but when Goku lost UI, he lost it as if it was a form and not a technique. Because you never lose a technique. I don't know if this has been discussed or not, I'm just giving my personal views on this. [link] [comments]

Vegeta fanboys and the piccolo problem. Posted: 13 May 2020 07:29 PM PDT This is honestly getting annoying and I don't really understand. First of all people like to say that vegeta is a better father than goku which I would never understand. First we have cell saga, he legit almost got his wife and baby trunks killed and future trunks had to save them. When future trunks asked him why he didn't help them he said something like "I could care less about that stupid woman and baby". Not only that but when he was in the hyperbaulic time chamber with trunks he didn't even bother helping him. Trunks spent basically a year thinking that he was stronger than vegeta and not knowing the downsides of the super saiyan grade 2-3 form but guess what vegeta did and didn't even try to help a bit. Now buu saga, vegeta straight up sold his soul to Babidi in order to num down his feeling ssj he could become mentally more like himself during the saiyan saga. During this he legit threw away his life just to beat goku and also led to buu awakening. When buu awakened he had to sacrifice himself and buu ended up blowing up the planet later. If he didn't let Babidi take control him goku, gohan supreme Kai, and himself could have stopped babidi. Legit all they had to Do was beat Dabura and if gohan lost than goku and vegeta could have easily killed him. Piccolo also easily cut babidi in half on his own. I'm sure with 3 people who are way stronger than piccolo and a deity who is of one of the highest orders in the universe and knows most of babidis tricks they could have easily killed him and ended the buu saga. Now we have goku, before the saiyan saga we see that goku was indeed there for gohan. Also he sacrificed himself for gohan and let his enemy who was way weaker than raditz kill him to protect his son and leave earth with a less powerful person to deal with. Now people like to say piccolo is gohans "real dad" when first of all he left gohan who was 4 years old at the time by himself in the woods for an entire year and only gave him a small bit of Guidance. If it wasn't for his saiyan nature and that robot he would have been long dead. And yet they still say "piccolo raised him" Now we have cell saga, compared to vegeta who legit helped in most of the problems goku actually tried fixing them. He actually helped gohan achieve ssj and ssj2 for a whole year. And people like to say "goku abandoned gohan for 7 years he's a horrible father" I wouldn't even doubt these people didn't watch the show. Goku legit said something in the lines of "ive realized that most of the problems in earth have been caused because of me so I think I'll stay dead" how is that being a bad father? He legit sacrificed himself for his entire planet. Meanwhile vegeta legit could have stopped semi perfect cell but let him become perfect. Maybe I can understand during super but goku in super is clearly just poorly written. Anyways what are your thoughts? [link] [comments]
