    Best Dragonball Moment?

    Posted: 12 Mar 2020 07:40 PM PDT

    I'll do mine by series

    DB- Tien's first tri-beam

    DBZ- Gohan goes SSJ2

Movies- Wrath Of The Dragon-Tapion begs Trunks to kill him- god damn if I don't cry every time

Specials- History of Trunks- The scene when Trunks finds the body of Gohan. Again, a lot of tears

Super- Goku and Frieza fighting Jiren. Great fight in what's otherwise my least favorite aspect of the franchise

GT- Goku's final flight on the back of Shenron

    Goku vs Kefla what if

    Posted: 12 Mar 2020 07:08 PM PDT

When goku and kale were fighting they kept mentioning Super saiyan 3 which is my favorite transformation after they see goku transform and then they fuse it would've been so sick to see another ss3 character even it being a female. Ss3 kefla vs ultra instinct goku would've been phenomenal.

    Character with the best techniques/moves?

    Posted: 12 Mar 2020 06:43 PM PDT

I definitely feel like some of the supporting cast have moves that would be crazy strong in the right hands. Obviously Tien's moves (Solar flare, Tri-beam, Clones) come to mind but I feel like Gotenks also has super strong moves, mainly the ability to shoot mouth blasts and the Galatic Donut.

Any other characters with really strong techniques?

This may be a question others have proposed countless times, but, why in the hell in dbz->now, has goku never tried to teach anyone else the instant transmission?

    Posted: 12 Mar 2020 05:17 PM PDT

I find it crazy, that in all the years and stories told since after the frieza saga, and even in super, that no one has been taught the instant transmission technique. Goku had taught his son the Kamehameha, who then taught his younger brother as well. So clearly goku is capable of training and teaching others, yet as far as I am aware, there has never been a moment where someone has asked about it, or recommended goku take them to yardrat to learn for themselves. It wasn't until the super Manga Moro arc going on right now, that the idea of learning from the yardratians was brought up again, and finally acted upon.

The instant transmission technique is not only powerful in battle, but it's powerful simply for travels sake, and allows the user to get anywhere immediately which can and will save lives. Even if goku only wanted to teach his own sons, and no one else, it would instrumentally help them to do so many important things while he's off training. It's been proven that goku can teleport to beerus planet, which we are told is far as hell away, so if others could do this technique, they would be able to reach out to goku anytime if things ever got dire as they often do.

I feel like at some point, goku should have taught vegeta, and they would both teach their sons, and so on. Goku has never struck me as the type to want to hold things back from his friends when it comes to fighting. I can understand if goku can't teach the kaioken given that it's a move of the gods. Vegeta would simply need to go to king kais himself, but I don't feel he needs that technique. However, if vegeta had instant transmission, it would allow him and goku to take on nearly any and all threats with far more synergy.

I think it's easy for someone to say, well why should other characters simply be a copy of goku with his same techniques? Well I get that, but no one knew the spirit bomb until future trunks randomly can do the spirit sword in super. No one else can do the kaioken. Gohan mostly just used the Kamehameha which is fine, but he has his ultimate form, which is different, and he's dangerous enough with that. Vegeta has his own blast techniques of course, and his spirit bomb equivalent is essentially his final explosion. In the super Manga during the top, it's finally revealed that vegeta knows the ki blade, which vegito uses, but we finally are shown that vegito only knows this because vegeta knows it. It would have been much cooler had we seen this in the anime, so vegeta and rose could of had a sword fight.

Essentially, I just see no narrative reason as to why this never comes up, and why it was never made a bigger deal throughout the series. I always thought it was crazy that both Saiyans never taught their wives to fly, yet Gohan taught videl. I see that we don't ever see a whole lot of one character, teaching another character various moves outside of how to go super saiyan. All in all, I find this odd and I don't see why it can't happen. As super continues in Manga form, it appears that vegeta is about to learn a new technique, and of course he finally achieved his own form in ssb evolution in super. But I just wish there wasn't always this heavy focus on how to make each character unique, but also give each relevant character the same skill that would vastly help all of earth. Thoughts?
