    Is Gohan's blue gi a reference to Chi-Chi's cheongsam?

    Hey there!

    I've been back on a bit of a Dragon Ball kick lately, and I noticed something that I haven't seen discussed anywhere.

    The gi Gohan wears during his training with Videl and Gohan prior to the 25th Tenkaichi Budōkai is a mixture of red and blue, which is remarkably similar to the colour scheme of Chi-Chi's chongsam from the 23rd Tenkaichi Budōkai.

    To me, this makes sense as it was most likely Chi-Chi who made the blue gi for Gohan, and having her colours be represented is a cool touch.

    What do you folks think? I know that some see Gohan's blue gi as more of a purple, in reference to his master Piccolo, but to me it feels like an homage to his mother.

    i'm pretty new to dragon ball i only started watching a few months ago. i already watched all of dragon ball and am watching DBZ (i'm on the cell games). i know for sure that i'm going to watch DBS, but i've heard a lot of complaints about GT. i'll still probably watch the series but i wanted to know some other people's thoughts on it?

    Super Saiyan sound effect

    I was just here to ask if anyone else noticed how the sound effect for the super saiyan aura isn't used at all anymore. I could 100% be wrong. Like I remember watching Dbs:Broly and during that vegeta super saiyan scene, they use the sound effect and I remember feeling a little nostalgia for it. Like "Damn, I haven't heard this in a while". Did they replace it or something?

    Just wondering, who is everyone’s favorite character and why?

    i'm new to DBZ, and i'm in the middle of the Cell Games Saga so surely there's a ton of character in yet to be introduced to. so far i'd have to say either Piccolo or Trunks because of their storylines written for them and overall just the awesome moves and everything that come with them.

    I would like to see hercule train buu more and coach him into greatness like cus d'amato and mike tyson. I would also like to see buu incorporate brutal hooks and uppercuts into his fighting style and maybe bite someone in the ear also.

    Idea for a parody

    A really funny thing I just though about would be for Goku not to awaken ultra instinct and pushed the zeno button during the tournament of power. Then he orders him to destroy all other universes and declare him the winner. If not he would no longer be friends with him :) By the way that's totally something Beerus would do lol

    DBZKai - matching blu ray cover art? (Season/Part sets)

    I can only find the season 1-4 sets containing the Freeza and Android sagas. But the blu rays for the Buu saga (final chapter 1-3) still have the cover art from the "Part"-releases. Are these outdated or are there plans to release the Buu saga with matching art to the season sets?
