    I realized why I actually like Dragonball

    To most dragonball is a show about action, great animations, big explosions and yelling. I realized recently on my drive home from work why especially OG Dragonball but also Z has such a huge place in my heart. It's a show about what can happen if you don't treat kids like worthless dirt. If you help them, support and teach them. It's about respecting kids and about mentors not being abusive cunts who end up disappointing those they're supposed to care for.

    Roshi has been trash talked a lot, being a horny old geezer but holy shit did he put Krillin and Goku on track. He cared for them with compassion, respect and love. He taught them the basics and he built their self esteem and characters up not only as Fighters but as men. Until this day he's always there for them and he would do anything to protect his students from harm. He's a great guy and Kame House will always be a second home to the boys.

    It's a show about friendship. Meaningful, lasting friendship. About friends who are not perfect. But about friends who will always come together and fight together and protect each other. Trash talk Yamcha all you want but the dude was there when it counted and he knew he was likely gonna die whe fighting Nappa and Vegeta and still went into battle regardless.

    It's a show about never giving up, learning from your mistakes and overcoming anxiety, fear and anger. It's a show about trusting yourself against all odds and not listening to people who say you will never succeed. And all that combined is why I love all 42 volumes of DragonBall as well as the anime.

    I was just thinking this. I feel like Goku spends more time with Vegeta than Krillin in Super. But then again, Krillin is several tiers weaker than Goku but they're still close friends. If Goku and Vegeta weren't around the same level of strength, would they still be close friends? I honestly don't think so.

    So I hung out at my friends place and we were watching 'one punch man ' and then in the first ep Saitama obvi kills some giant dude in a punch, knowing im a dbz fan he said can Goku do this huh? I thought there was no one out there who thought of us as the Goku solos kinda people 🤦🏻‍♂️. Making this clear no Db fans are the type of ppl who say Goku and dragon ball characters are op and destroy others. We like the show but we never compare db and other animes together.

    i thought there was one in the broly movie who survived with kid raditz and vegeta unless that dude just got killed afterwards. If the son of the King (tarble) managed to escape notice im sure some random bumass saiyan could go undetected

    I cannot emphasize how much i want this, i want to hear Moro's, Granola's, all of the Heeters' voices.

    One moment i cannot wait for is when Goku senses Moro's energy, those countless souls crying out? That'll probably be the creepiest thing in DB history.
