    Did anybody really think about how over the top tough Freeza was at the end of the Namek saga?

    He stalemated Vegeta in form 1, got whupped BAD by Piccolo in Form 2 and has his tail severed, Form 3 gets smacked around by Gohan , and THEN he starts fighting Goku.

    He fights and takes a pretty solid amount of punishment, eats a huge Spirit Bomb to the face, gets beat to shit by a Super Saiyan, gets sliced in half at the waist, gets an energy blast in the face, then a planet explodes in his face, and he survives kind of a really long time floating in space without the lower half of his body and with half of his fucking head blown off.

    The only more impressive feat of toughness is that first Vegeta fight when he takes a kaioken beating, takes his own planet destroying attack - plus a way stronger one to the face, takes a spirit bomb to the chest, has his eye pulped, his tail cut off, slashed with a sword, and has a gorilla the size of a building fall on top of him, and he still escapes.

    Because I'm tired of seeing all the unwarranted hate already, let's have a comfy GT thread for a change. With a twist, because instead of recycling the same points made by the Internet over and over again, I'll try posting things and facts that are less known.

    First of all, I want people to realize that there is more to it than just the 64 episodes of the series. In other words just like Super, DBGT lives in merchandise and videogames, which believe it or not, brings a lot of enjoyable content. So without further prolonging, let me post some of my favorite GT oriented artworks (of course they are all official!)

    • A Happy Trio. Seeing the main characters enjoy each other's presence is always comforting. It didn't happen often in the series because of plot reasons, but it shouldn't be a surprise that Goku, Pan and Trunks are all close friends.

    • Pan, Gohan & Videl We don't often see them interacting in the series due to Pan spending so much time away from home. But during the Baby arc, Pan tried her best to get back her parents from Baby's influence. They make a happy family, don't they?

    • SSJ4 Goku teaches Pan how to Teleport Now this one is pretty interesting, seeing how Goku never thought of doing that to anyone. It's fun to think that sometime during the free era period post Baby's defeat, Goku thought of teaching IT to Pan, and she was willing to learn it.

    Other notable pics:

    Pan with Mr. Satan - It's nice how she respects her other grandpa just as much as she does Goku.

    Triple Attack - DB is an action series, and combination moves are always good to see.

    2 Gokus - Despite being different in age, they're the same in personality.

    Serious Adult Goten - A rare sight in general.

    GT also deserves the honor that despite not being canon, it STILL continues getting fresh content over various media, and it's almost 25 years later! I can't recall many anime being capable of such a feat.

    ..and let's not forget that one of the best DB Openings comes from a GT centered videogame..

    I hope you enjoyed some of my little findings in regards to this series. As I said, just like the Dragon Balls themselves, many of various perks that came with GT, are spread all over different forms of media.

    Watching DBS (finally)

    So I just finally got around to watching DBS (long time DBZ fan since the 90s). So far I really like it, it's a good mix of action and comedy, which I felt like is a good evolution of the series. So far 2 questions has popped up though. Why is future trunks hair blue while present is still purple and why are the Pilaf gangs kids again? Did I miss something?

    Just a question

    If trunks used his ki to make his sword even stronger (examples being when he killed freiza and cold in z and killing merged zamasu in super) could you technically power up let's say goku's power pole, any of the staffs either from roshi all the way to kami's or launch's gun?

    I always wondered what would it have looked like, after Vegeta killed all those people at the world tournament, if Goku said "Fuck this" and went SSJ3. Just a thought.

    DB Heroes world mission the game story ??

    Hey guys I want to try this game but Im kindof confused. Does it include the previous games' story or has its own and I will be expected to know what happened in the previous installments, and in that case which heroes games would you recommend to play first and do they have english versions? Im really interested in Xeno games as a fan of xenoverse/dbo/fusions but dont know where to get started with heroes and also it used to be japanese only. Thanks!

    Goku didn't need to go back through snake way

    When Goku fell off on his first journey to snake way he landed in hell and is told there's a secret passage to get back to snake way, he gets told where the passage is and runs up. After reaching the end of passage he pushes something which opens King Yemma's drawer, he then is greeted by Yemma meaning he was back at the start. Surely he could've jumped of snake way and gone back through the passage, or is there something I'm missing?

    i still don't understand why vegeta got shocked when bulma's mom called him trendy the 1st time she met him. didn't he know the meaning or was he just shocked bc it was a compliment ? he had the same reaction when bulma called him vegeta kun
