    Realtalk about Trunks

    Let's remember what Trunks had to go through.

    Ever since he was born, he only remembers having been in a destroyed world. His best friend, the only Z fighter that was alive, dies in a fight against the Androids.

    Somehow, he manages to get strong enough to defeat them.

    Years later, after it was thought that peace was restored on Earth, the Supreme Kai made his sacrifice to stop Majin Buu's revival. Goku Black observing this scene, the Earth is again in chaos alongside with the whole multiverse.

    He had to see his mother sacrificing herself to make it to the past and dying in front of his eyes.

    Just when he thought, he managed to seal Zamasu, it turned out to go all in vain, just because Goku was too dumb to take the symbol for the seal from Master Roshi.

    Due to Zeno's misinterpretation of "This guy over there does very bad things", the whole timeline (in the anime it was "just" the multiverse) gets erased and his timeline's story finds an end here, thus he'll never be able to see his real home again, but an alternate one before Babidi and Dabura appeared.

    And despite all that happened in his life, he somehow still managed to get over everything and to leave the main timeline with a smile. I was just thinking.. if I were in his stead, I would probably go crazy and lose my mind for good, like psychologically. Imagine being the only one from your reality who made it out alive.

    Trunks is my second favorite character with Future Gohan being the first one. Whenever I watch his death scene, it touches me and makes me feel bad. But this was just the beginning of other upcoming crises such as Babidi and Black.

    Anyone else Remember that weird Australian dub of DragonBall?

    So, for those that don't know there was a very weird dub of DragonBall I used to watch that I can't find a trace of online, I remember that it aired around 9:00PM, Bulma's name was changed to Amy, Oolong's was Dundee (smooth reference there), the show used the Harmony Gold theme Song & that there was pretty much no censorship since Australian censors are Very, VERY Loose (they would air some f'd up stuff) here's me talking about it on r/tipofmytongue: https://reddit.app.link/WeLJjRZ6h4

    if there are any japanese people here in the subreddit, i like to know what your opinion is on the english dub

    You may or may not know this but in the west there are heated debates on which is better the native language or the translated one (frankly for all anime in general).

    I really like to know what the east thinks, have you ever heard it in english or any other language. is it weird or does it sound good (enough) or better than the original.
