The funny thing about Majin Vegeta

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 09:59 AM PDT

Just bingeing the series again, thanks to the quarantine, and i notcied something i'm sure many know already.

Even tho Majin Vegeta is one of my favorite forms and moments in the whole of Dragon Ball, I just noticed the Irony of Vegeta wanting to change back 'to the way he was before'

All of Vegeta's greatest feats after the Cell saga, were either in defense of someone else, or to keep his word to someone.. Either way, it was always when he fought for others.. He claimed he thought thats what gave Kakarot his power, and wanted to copy it. But never really could, so tried to turn his back on it. In doing so, he the sacrifices himself and is never the same again.

His Final attonement. His final fight with Majin Buu, Thats my Bulma, Helping Trunks with Black, Going Royal Blue, defeating Toppo with a suicidal move, Giving his energy to Goku, so his promise with Cabba could be kept..

He finally acheived what he wanted to all those years ago, but not because he wanted to. But because he needed to, for others. Just like Goku

What if babidi had came to earth at the same time frieza and cold arrived for their revenge.

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 08:54 PM PDT

Frieza and cold have landed near babidi's spaceship and when babidi sees them he takes over there mind and increasing their power as well then it could have been trunks and goku vs cold and frieza. I know this sounds silly but could have been an interesting side story sort of.

Some Thoughts on the Dragon Ball Afterlife

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 08:16 PM PDT

    Here's some weird thoughts on the Dragon Ball afterlife;

1: Piccolo told Vegeta that his soul would be purified and he would be reincarnated, but Frieza died in 762 and was restored to life for a few months in 779 and permanently in 780, so apparently that takes quite a while.

2: The rules of the afterlife are apparently absolute. Yemma is weaker than even King Kai, but everyone more powerful than him that dies ends up wherever he wants them to go even if they're way more powerful than him. In addition, neither Goku nor Frieza ever considered staying on Earth longer during their temporary visits when Baba brings them back. Even though Frieza is, well, Frieza, he doesn't even think about simply staying instead of going back. In addition, Goku can apparently teleport into Otherworld when he's alive, but can't teleport out when he's dead.

Can you think of any other weird rules about the Dragon Ball universe?

Piecing together the Kaioshin continuity from interviews

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 10:11 AM PDT

    • The Kaio and Kaioshin are from Planet Kaishin (Core World)
    • It's populated by 80 Shinjin (Core People).
    • Shinjin are born from fruits on a Kaiju (World Tree).
    • Special Shinjin are born from golden fruits, but they are rare.
    • Shinjin train at a special school.
    • There are 4 Kaios and a Grand Kaio.
    • When a current Kaio dies, they are replaced by another Shinjin who trained at the school.
    • There are 4 Kaioshins and a Grand Kaioshins.
    • When a current Kaioshin dies, they are replaced by another Shinjin born from a golden fruit.
    • There are three (sets?) of kaioshins who work in shifts. Only one is actively on duty at a time.
    • But there are two kaioshins on duty now.
    • The two inactive kaioshin are not fully grown until the active kaioshin dies.

Northern Kaio is dead but hasn't been replaced. Why? There should be a school of 80 Shinjin waiting to graduate.

Three of the Kaioshins and the Grand Kaioshin have died and haven't been replaced. Why? There should be two sets of golden fruits waiting to be grown.

The two current kaioshins are the Elder Kaioshin and the Eastern Kaioshin. Elder Kaioshin was sealed away so Eastern Kaioshin was maybe a replacement for him, since he looks younger than the other kaioshins.

The Kaiōshin are said to have the highest status in the universe, but how can you become a Kaiōshin?

No one can\. Kaiōshin are born as Kaiōshin. There are three of them, and they work in shifts. Though there are two of them on duty now, if one of the Kaiōshin were to die in an accident, then the currently-inactive Kaiōshin would grow in** the Kaiōshin Realm like a plant. If there aren't any accidents, then it's said their lifespans are about 75,000 years\.*

Who was it that sealed the Elder Kaiōshin away in the Z Sword?

The Kaiōshin (who create planets) and the Gods of Destruction (who destroy them) have never gotten along that well, but once every 1,000 years they go to each other's realms and hold a coordination meeting. At this time, they got into an argument over some trifling thing, and a certain short-tempered God of Destruction sealed Elder Kaiōshin away inside a sword. Naturally, it wouldn't have been proper for him to destroy the Kaiōshin Realm itself. By the way, that God of Destruction was Beerus\.*

    https://www.kanzenshuu.com/translations/seg-character-volume-truth-about-dragon-ball/

    Is Kaiō-sama a hereditary position?

Inside the big ball I mentioned before, there is a planet, called the World Core [Kaishin-sei] where the Kaiō are born and raised. It's a world like a gigantic Planet Kaiō, and Kaiō-sama and his peers are born as Core People [Shin-jin] from the fruit of the World Core's giant World Tree [Kaiju]. The planet's population is about 80. Core People are neither male nor female, and their average lifespan is said to be about 75,000 years. At a castle that's like a school, they learn a variety of things, and live an easygoing life; however, if a Kaiō dies on one of the Kaiō Planets, the next Kaiō is chosen from among them by lottery. However, a Kaiōshin is chosen only from Core People who are born from a special golden fruit, which rarely occurs. In addition, there are occasionally delinquent Core People with evil hearts; these ones fall under the Makaiō.

Tuffle and Saiyan possible film idea

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 09:15 PM PDT

I've always wondered why Toriyama hasn't brought back the likes of baby from Dragonball GT or Hatchiyack from "Plan to eradicate all saiyans" into Dragonball super or in movie form. I mean come on. Am I the only one who would like to see Saiyans and Tuffles interacting and seeing how they went from friendly terms to going out into the civil war? The motive for Baby is reasonable and it's hard to see fault in why he wants to kill the saiyans.

I recall that in DBZ it's said that saiyans were tired of being treated like slaves, but we never saw the tuffles in canon treat the saiyans like that. There's no reason why we should cheer for the saiyans genocide of the tuffles. It would have been nice to see some scenes of saiyans and tuffles get along while other scenes have the tuffles mocking the saiyans for their primitive was as well as saiyans mocking tuffles for being so physically weak. If we saw the saiyans being being brutalized and tortured by the tuffles, then we could agree with the saiyans actions; but for this case we'll assume that the tuffles did nothing wrong.

We know from DBZ filler that King Vegeta lead the uprising and genocide but isn't it strange? Assuming this is the same King Vegeta that sent broly away to vampa for being more powerful than prince vegeta, we would have no reason to trust King Vegeta's word. He's a scoundrel willing to do whatever it takes to stay in power.

Now consider this! What if during the saiyan and tuffle war, the tuffles sent their projects "Baby" and "Hatchiyack" to another planet. There, the two android like organisms would mold and develop into their final forms.

Baby would be filled with his hatred of the saiyan race and want to eradicate them. Hatchiyack is also bloodthristy for saiyan blood but with a more like an android 16 kind of way. Baby could be a parasitic machine and hatchiyack is pure machine.

You know who else hates saiyans? Freiza! I know people may be tired of frieza by now, but imagine Baby and Frieza teaming up to destroy the saiyans but with a twist. Baby isn't interested in killing earthlings or destroying the planet. He only wants to go after saiyans and specifically ONE person in particular. It's not goku, but Vegeta!

Why Vegeta you ask? Because Baby would be so blinded by his hatred of King Vegeta that killing prince vegeta would be like killing the king himself. This would give Vegeta the focus of the film and bring more exposition to his life on planet vegeta.

Hatchyack would be the one scouting the planet for other saiyans and focus primarily on fighting them while leaving any non-saiyan Z-fighter alone. Why would he fight a being who has nothing to do with the carnage of his species? Maybe the human characters would be able to get through to him and talk him into not killing Vegeta, goku, Gohan, etc. Wouldn't it be nice to see androids 17 and 18 get through to him? A fellow android/Machine?

By this point, Frieza could come to earth and try to conquer it but Baby stops him. Baby sees that the earthlings remind him too much of the tuffles and he won't let freiza destroy them. Baby and Frieza fight and Frieza gets blasted away or something.

Baby at this point, is lost in his emotions. On one hand, he wants to destroy Vegeta because his father is the reason for his race's destruction. On the other hand, by killing the last remaining saiyans (Besides broly of course), he'll be committing the same genocide that was bestowed on his race and wouldn't him any better than them.

Baby and Hatchiyack would eventually leave earth and go to a different planet, a big gete star, and rebuild their planet from their using their mechanical parts.

My apologies if this is cringe or sounds like pure fanfiction. I just really want to see more of the history of the tuffles and Saiyans. It'd be nice to see how the saiyan race came to be through more exposition.

Anyone of you ever wondered "why" exactly Grant Priest is 'fifth' in the terms of battle power? And do Zeno have a "counterpart"?

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 09:11 PM PDT

I recently rewatched Dragon Ball Super and some of the things and impressions I previously had started to be stronger, more apparent and even more consistent.

One of the impressions I had is that our childish and slightly goofy Zeno is many, many times, over and over, shown as someone not really capable, wise or able to create something. He even had problems with counting to ten! (or was it nine?)

We see him erasing things ("destroying" brought to another level), even entire universes and.. that's it. We have someone very powerful, with ability to annihilate anything, but not much aside of that... doesn't it sound like some "ultra" or"super" version of Hakaishin? (Bluntly speaking, something like God of Destruction on mega steroids)

It makes even more sense, if you add to this Zeno being mentored by an Angel, while Angels are being only paired with Gods of Destruction and not entities like Kaioshins.

Now... what is the other thing common about every Hakaishin? That they have Kaioshins as "counterparts".

Looking at the childish and playful Zeno, who is shown anything but a being capable of watching over all the universes, with his only trademark shown being an ability to erase (aka. "destroy") anything he wants, sharing some common traits with Gods of Destruction that are below him...

...doesn't it just screams for Zeno being predestined to have some kind of "counterpart" too? Some omni-being that, similar to how Kaioshin should operate, watches over the things and the universes, and crates them?

And now, we have all this strengthened by what I wrote in the title: the Grand Priest, even though he's above all the other Angels we see, he's still only "fifth". However, there is no one other shown, or even suggested, who can be on par with him. Who could these "four" be then? Some other Angels?

And now! What immediately comes into mind when you think about Four Angels? A motive that appeared in many different fantastic works, be it many anime, manga or some western stuff, that originated from Bible?

Yes, four angels/archangels or Seraphs, serving the Almighty One. And if there were to be beings like that, four of them, then it would perfectly fit into Grand Priest being the "fifth"!

I didn't read newer Dragon Ball Super manga yet, so I don't know if there's something more that could support or discredit it, but what do you think about this theory? I don't really follow Dragon Ball community, so if there are some theories about Zeno's counterpart or Seraphims then I had missed them, but even though I didn't heard anyone else mentioning it, this all makes sense to me as a something that could possibly happen.

What do you think about this?

Someone posted a picture of an action figure of Mr Satan busting blocks and here's how I responded. I can't be the only one here that knows the truth...

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 06:21 AM PDT

Finally some appreciation for the most powerful being in the DBZ universe. Doesn't need any chi, took a hit from Trunks and kept his composure, took a hit from Cell and didn't die or suffer any injuries. Knowing the fight was televised he threw the Cell fight to rally Earth's heroes for future defense of Earth and the universe. HE tamed an alien demon to change his ways and they adopted a dog together. Were it not for the Saiyajins/Namekians, etc needing to work on themselves to improve he'd have taken care of every threat in DBZ.

    Jiren was right

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 05:27 PM PDT

I want to make it fast so right to the point. In my opinion jiren was right about strength being everything.

    1. In dragon ball world every problem was ultimatly solve by strenght. Most of the time new opponent show up he was defeat by brute force or join our heroes by being somewhat forced to it by beating crap out of him by main characters or main villains

    Now this more important part

2.In real world jiren's word are even more true but we just need to change strength to power. So how do we achive power in real world? By forcing our way and eliminating others chance of becoming a winner. Why? Because there is always more loosers than winners. For example for one successfull pro boxer there are several which was on pro level but lost to him and would propably retire after few matches or go to worst league when they will gain minimal money and will be forgoten. We can gain power by brain, sport, money, business, being famous and more but ultimatly when you get this power you will be beloved, liked, respected and you will have more comfortable life. But you didn't get it because of you personality, being good person or having alot of friends. Only way to get power is to work hard, have talent and most important by pushing your way through other people who want to reach the same goal. So in my opinion strength in db universe and power in our universe is everything. What do you think guys?
