    Does anyone else call bullshit on the ruling that Goku’s Nimbus was exempt from that one time he used it during the first World Martial Arts Championship?

    I was actually really bothered by it. Giran technically should have won that. His gum attack on Goku was completely fine because it came from his own body, and not the use of any special tools or weapons. The fact that Goku was given a pass on using the Nimbus is, frankly, a bunch of bullshit. I love to see Goku win and he's a really great character, but - man - Giran got CHEATED (even if he was kind of a dickhead).

    What are your unpopular dragonball opinions?

    Here are mine: Gohan doesn't work as a main character.He was the most interesting when he was the great Saiyaman (too bad that didn't past long).

    Vegeta's redemption arc was terrible(Piccolo's was much better).i also think that Vegeta should have stayed dead (he became less interesting after the Freeza arc).

    Yajirobe didn't need to exist

    King piccolo is a lame villain

    It's a good thing that Launch was forgotten(she was just a gag that lasted for way too long)

    I don't understand why people like tienshinhan so much

    Dragon ball is best with goku as the main character(too bad he is written inconsistent by toriyama and toei)

    ss4 is the best form

    Why does everyone hate on the ENGLISH DUB of GT? (NO SPOILERS)

    PLEASE NO SPOILERS

    I've finished watching OG Dragon Ball and I'm on like episode 250/291 of DBZ. I'm planning on watching GT once I'm done with Z and then after that, Super.

    I understand that people hate GT and it's not has not been as fan-loved as the other series but I'm wondering why the English dub in specific is bad? I get the intention that it's worse by reading a bunch of things on Reddit about it - people say stuff like "Oh if you watched the English dub of GT then I understand why you didn't like it."

    I'm still gonna watch the show no matter what, especially because it's only 60 something episodes; just wanted to understand why the English dub is not well received compared to subbed.

    Scene I remember in OG Dragon Ball that may not exist. Help!

    So this has bothered me for a long time now. I have skimmed through my DVDs and checked Google and I cannot find any record of existence of this scene I remember. I could watch the entire series again, but maybe someone else remembers this too. Maybe it's the Mandela Effect. I'm very curious now. Here it goes:

    I recall this scene, it was in the original Dragon Ball series when Goku was a kid. The way I remember this, he was at a martial arts tournament and ate way too much right before a round. In the middle of the fight, his stomach acted up, and he ran from the scene clutching his buttcheeks as the crowd laughed in an uproar. Now, I realize this especially doesn't make sense, because Goku would have forfeit the match if that had happened, and lost the tournament. Maybe there's a similar but different scene? This has been bugging me for a very long time. I swear I remember seeing this. Help!!!

    In DBS: Broly, did Goku and Vegeta both achieve SSB2?

    I just watched Broly at home for the first time since I saw it in theaters. And I couldn't help but wonder the shade of Blue that was used in the SSB form looked very much like the form that Vegeta achieved at the end of Universal tournament which I guess is Super Saiyan Blue 2? Forgive me but I forget the formal name it got in the anime. In any case, does that mean that both Goku and Vegeta have achieved SSB2? Or was it just a really colorful movie?

    Btw this movie has held up so well. Easily my favorite Dragon Ball movie.

    Why did people love Broly in the first place? (i'm neutral on this)

    I don't hate, nor love Broly. I do enjoy him for what he is, as some force of nature. I do enjoy protagonists that have pure anger as motivation.

    Though i don't understand why so many people loved him in the first place. Praised him as the best movie villain... i dunno, i liked Turles and Cooler way more.

    I know that broly gains strength even without the form. But what is so "legendary" about his form. It looks like a green super saiyan. Does the multiplier increase while you fight? Or is it a huge multiplier even bigger than omen?

    What would the Z Fighters and other character be up to right now if Goku had never come to earth?

    Say Bardock never realized anything was wrong and stayed on Planet Vegeta with Goku, only for them both to be destroyed with the majority of the Saiyan race.

    What would the rest of the Z Fighters and other important characters be up to at this point in the story if Goku was never sent to earth?

    • Would the Z Fighters have been able to train hard enough to take out King Piccolo without Goku?

    • Would Krillin be a career tourament fighter? Would he end up taking home a World Martial Arts Tournament win?

    • Would Roshi ever end up taking in Yamcha as a student?

    • Would Tien and Chiaotzu ever see the error in their ways?

    • Would the Red Ribbon Army and Dr. Gero still be up to no good?

    • Would Buu or Moro have any interest in earth? Furthermore, would Merus end up being the one to deal with Buu to get his help against Moro?

    • Would Beerus end up trying to create the Super Saiyan God with Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz, Broly, Paragus, and Tarble?
