    Fights in Dbz were, for the most part, pretty straightforward. I really enjoy how some of the DBS fighters are becoming more creative. Things like Goku's using ki on his body or his Kamehameha to bounce/jump off of an opponent's blasts in the ToP, and the combo attacks of gohan and piccolo. It makes me curious if any of the other fighters will come up with creative solutions to bridge the power gap.

    All Dragon Ball Timelines (I was bored, while rewatching DBZ)

    Original (Timeline 1) - Freiza invades Earth - Goku kills Frieza - Goku dies of heart disease - Androids arrive, killing everyone but Gohan - Gohan trains Trunks - Gohan dies, trunks goes back in time, creating Timeline 2 - Trunks returns from Timeline 2, destroys Androids - Cell awakens, kills Trunks and goes back in time, creating Timeline 3 * presumably Earth rebuilds, due to there being no one strong enough to reawaken Majin Buu (all Z-Fighters are gone) *

    Timeline 2 - Trunks goes back in time from Timeline 1, creating this timeline - Trunks kills Frieza, warns Z-Fighters - Goku gets sick and takes heart medicine - Androids arrive, destroyed by emergency detonator - Trunks returns to Timeline 1 * Presumably the Majin Saga still happens (as all the Z-Fighters are still alive) and Cell awakens by the time Trunks is an adult. However it can't be said what would happen, because they probably wouldn't be as strong as they are in the main timeline, due to them not having to fight Cell during the Android Saga *

    Timeline 6 - Whis arrives with Mai and Trunks before Black travels to this timeline, in turn creating this timeline - Whis informs Timeline 6's Beerus of Black and Zamsu - Beerus kills Timeline 3's Black and Timeline 6's Zamasu before the can get the Super Dragon Balls - Trunks and Mai live alongside their counterparts in peace

    I understand that he was a very popular movie character in the mid 90's along with Cooler, but Broly's third movie seemed (to me atleast) to be just a cash grab off a popular character. He already had a satisfying conclusion to his character in Broly Second Coming (basically coming back for revenge from the first movie but ultimately being finished off for good) but TOEI just makes this third movie to add "NOPE, HE'S BACK BUT AS A SCIENTIFIC CLONE!". Other than Trucks and Goten getting screentime (just like they did for the majority of Second Coming), this movie (IMO) shouldn't have been made.

    I'm looking for the REAL original intro for Dragon Ball Z

    I have run out of ideas where to ask this from. I have asked /r/HelpMeFind /r/youtube /r/DBZDokkanBattle and now I'm here. I'm so sick and tired of finding this song so here I go and copy and paste my thing relating to DBZ:

    Dragon Ball Z intro is usually as seen in the vid I posted. I'm looking for the previous intro where the vocalist sounded almost identical to this: https://youtu.be/F0cn5iAQjbY?t=26 (No, I'm not trolling, it really did happen)

    It was still in English, just in the "slimy" voice and it was before the version most of the people have used to.

    I found this from youtube couple of years ago but even then it was pain in the ass. Now it seems to be all gone?

    Edit: Why are you downvoting me? It really did happen and I will prove it once I find evidence. I was there I saw it back in the 90's or early 2000's, I saw it in youtube too.

    Ssg or ssj4? Not it terms of power. But what do you prefer as the next saiyan level of power. Let's really discuss this. I will below.

    Alright Alright i know it has been talk about plenty of times since ssg made it's appearance. But i want to discuss it more. Now me i prefer ssj4 all day. Why? Well i love that it's centered around the tail and power of a saiyan and it's like they're evolving. The design is awesome too the black long hair the tail and fur (just wish it was brown or black fur but hey red is cool too) and everything around it. Now i know it was from gt (the most hated dragon ball series and controversial. Due to it not being canon and kid goku, the characters etc.) If i could say what i love ssj4 on is the heroes episodes. Why? Well for one goku is an adult and has his tail no kid gt goku Adult goku. It always surprised me how goku turned into an adult when going into his fourth form and I'll admit it was stupid. Instead having him back as a wish. They do that. (Though of bt3 it was awesome when goku would be like "not going to hold back" and transforms into ssj4 and say "let's kick it up a notch") but yeah still. It's not that i dislike super saiyan god. It's just that it's very tricky. Like it is their saiyan power but still god power too? (I never understood it. I knew that the saiyans do a ritual and it is the saiyan power but still i feel like due to beerus and other gods, now goku and vegeta have to be gods and have the godly power and status eh idk) but still with ssj4 four it was simple they brought the tail back (i loved the tails) they brought back the great ape ozarus and just that saiyan power in general. I do love that it's somehow used with broly (without the tail) but the idea is there. But just because i prefer ssj4 doesn't i don't dislike ssjg heck if i had to say it I'd say i love the super saiyan god more than a lot of the transformations (more than blue and ui and evolution blue) (yep I said it) but I'm just glad ssj4 existed and at some point was the top ssj form and ssj4 gogeta was looked as the top op fusion. But i know some will agree and some won't i want that. So tell me which do you prefer ssj4 or god. (Concept, design, and usage)

    I’m not a major expert on Dragon Ball. Why does the Senzu Bean bag always look completely full, even though there’s only a dozen or so beans in there? Sometimes only a few.

    Is there a lore reason, or is it just the design choice? A lot of the times, I'll hear Goku and friends say how many beans are left, but the pouch always looks almost completely full. Am I crazy?

    Hi everyone, I am not sure I am on the correct subreddit, but if not then let me know to delete this.

    I've recently gotten really into dragon ball and have not almost watched all of dragon ball (not z). I am now looking to buy the physical version, but have a bit of trouble getting all seasons in Denmark where I live. I saw a Blue set from US (region 1). But have a few questions.

    Are they 4:3 aspect ratio? Does it matter that its a NTSC version and not PAL. since I live in a PAL country.

    So why didn't the Z fighters die to Frieza before the androids came?

    Hear me out...

    When trunks came back in time to warn them about the androids that apparently kill them all. He first saved them from Frieza right? So if trunks never went back in time, wouldn't the Z fighters of been killed by Frieza and not the androids?

    Without trunks they wouldn't of been able to stop Frieza and king cold. If it was just one of them then maybe but both would be too much. So if trunks didn't go back in time how did they survive? Goku wouldn't of come back in time and no one was strong enough so what happened to Frieza in the original timeline? Plot hole maybe?

    What are your minor DBZ headcanons?

    Everyone's got grandoise plans for where they want the series to go or what they would have rather had happen, but what are your minor little headcanons or twists that you have no evidence for, but believe anyways?

    Some of mine:

    Gohan loves gardening

    Vegeta will listen to all kinds of music and has no preference, just anything that sounds good

    Chichi sells knitted sweaters, hats, etc. on the side to make extra money

    Goku loves tea while Vegeta prefers coffee

    I don't know, just random little things! What do you guys have?

    I want a Tien arc in Dragonball super

    It was said in GT that tien and chiaotzu were going to planet to planet training. I think they should bring this concept back in a small 4 episode arc in super, or a tv special.

    Tien is at least a planetary threat, so id love to see a story where him, launch, puar, yamcha, and oolong go to a small planet and liberate it from an evil king. Id have that king be about Dabura level which still should be a good fight, but the combined efforts of tien and yamcha should be able to kill him by now. Id also have Tien and launch finally consumate their relationship, and the film will have that old school, dark 90s feel. Id also let tien get a new four armed super form. As its pretty clear hes some sort of boracial human alien hybrid.

    Ive wanted to see the other characters go on adventurrs for a while, and i think specials or small arcs are a great way to do it. Every threat doesnt requrie goku and vegeta. They are like the nuclear bombs. Id like to see what happens with the lower level threats in that world.
