Can we talk about how Broken fusion is?

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 08:27 PM PDT

Especially in Z, Super buu absorbed Piccolo, Ssj3 Gotenks, And Gohan and both Gohan and Gotenks were stronger than Goku and Vegeta, Plus buu also absorbed Piccolo who was probably around Cell level ( if it's not he's still definitely stronger than the Androids). So Goku and Vegeta used fusion and they were able to whoop Buu in base. That or Buu absorbing technique isn't that strong.

An idea I had for the series going forward

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 04:01 PM PDT

Let it be known that I am only aware of events up until the conclusion of the Tournament of Power - please no Moro spoilers! Thanks

I had an idea that involved the Z fighters traveling to one of the universes that wasn't featured in the Tournament (I was thinking 12) - their Destroyer has become afflicted by some plague or parasite and Beerus has been selected to head over there and get their destroyer under control by any means necessary - but of course Goku and Vegeta will tag along for the show. However, when they arrive in the new universe they feel entirely different. Their ki feels completely absent - as if it never existed.

Explain that this universe, is unique in that ki exists in an opposite polarity. Use some kind of thing about negative gravitational energy, yadda yadda. But basically what this means is that power levels have been reset - Goku and Vegeta are at Dragon Ball levels of power! They'll need time to learn this new universe to regain their abilities and learn to fight new foes! And this could allow for any other character in the show to get involved with the action. I would exclude Gods from this power-down so we can see Beerus fight at full power against Universe 12's destroyer

I think about this would be a really good time remake GT again.

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 10:16 PM PDT

After the moro arc, i actually really would enjoy the idea of going back to the original structure of the classic dragon ball journey to the west esque story but in a literal multiversal scope where is just goku and friends travel across the multiverse and hunt the super dragon balls.

maybe explore the lore of the super dragon ball further, see zalama the creator of the dragon ball, maybe even see the villain from jiren's backstory, see stories of the other destroyed universe.

though i have zero idea how to get a good reasoning to why would goku and friends need to hunt the dragon balls manually, unless we go back to "goku turn into a kid" again and beerus be napping to go collect them all for them.

New Dragon Ball Z movie plans?

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 09:29 PM PDT

This has to do with the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F movies. I've been looking into the Goku Black sneak peek in Resurrection F, and I was thinking obviously they were originally planning to make a sequel to the Resurrection F movie. It seemed like it would be a really good movie. That got me to wonder, what were their plans with the New DBZ movies? Were they gonna make more than three movies, were they planning a trilogy (Battle of the Gods, Resurrection F, and untitled Goku Black movie), or was it something else? Were they going to make a Tournament of Power movie, or Dragon Ball Z: Broly instead of Dragon Ball Super: Broly? I don't remember exactly, but I think there may have been a video or article about it that I stumbled upon a while ago and chose not to read. I think it said something about 5 or 6 movies. Obviously, I don't remember what I saw that well, so I'm probably wrong. If they were going to do a Goku Black movie, they would have lots of explaining to do, because they hadn't explained much about the other universes. In that movie timeline, all we know is that there are other universes. So they would have to eventually make more movies about the other universes. Beerus only said that there were 12 universes in Battle of the Gods, that was all we knew. I would've loved if they finished their plans and released them in theaters just so we could know (like the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League), their original plans. If anyone has any information, please do not hesitate to speak up. I'm just curious about what they were planning.

    Spriting Characters from Dragon Ball.

    Spriting Characters from Dragon Ball.

Here's my take on certain Dragon Ball characters and how they would look in the Advanced Adventure style, AKA the OG Dragon Ball game on Game Boy Advance.

    To start off, here's Goku.

Feel free to use these sprites as long as you give credit to me, okey?

[Discussion] Is Videl able to "Super Dash" in DBZ?

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 08:55 PM PDT

I was recently having a debate with someone over the semantics of characters interaction with universal game mechanics in Dragon Ball FighterZ. The newest edition (Roshi) includes a canonically flightless character who instead has the Super Dash mechanic replaced with a new unique movement tool.

The person I was speaking to argues that Videl should also not be able to Super Dash because she is assumably never shown flying at "High Speed" (visible aura) in the show. Is that true, and is it even relevant to what would be required for one to "Super Dash"?

I would like a DBZ game that has an original story line separate from the DBZ saga

    Posted: 19 Aug 2020 08:59 AM PDT

I am a fan of DBZ and played every game up until now and I have to be honest in that I'm bit weary of reliving the DBZ saga, over, and over, and over again. I love the DBZ but replaying the same saga a thousand times gets stale.

I for one would like a DB game that is a self contained story. Far away from the DBZ saga. One with it's own original cast and unique villains.

How fun would it be to have an all new universe and a new hero to explore it with. A game that doesn't involve reliving Goku's life...again.

Heck it could it be a game with Old Goku who's become a master and you the student. A game where Goku has stepped aside to let a new generation of Heroes protect earth. Or it could be a game that's far into the future where Goku's legacy lives on and you the protagonist have to step into the hero's role. And instead of replaying the DBZ saga for the 1000th time, you can face new foes, and make new allies.

Take DB heroes for instance. Yeah it's all over the place and just an excuse to sell merchandise, but atleast it tried to mix things up a bit.

I get Goku is the face of the franchise and he's my favorite too. But as far as the game series goes, I would just like something that doesn't have me facing Frieza, Cell, and Buu again.
