Posted: 19 Sep 2020 06:05 PM PDT I've started rewatching the series, and honestly now that ive looked more into it, the saiyan saga is so damn dark... I mean when chioutzu sacrafices himself and he's speaking to tien before his death, all bloodied up on Napa's back, and then tien screaming in hurt and anger after it happens, and then after that takes his own life trying to avenge him (without an arm too). Then.... it gets worse. Piccolo sacraficing himself for Gohan, which shows that he actually did care about him and was a good guy, only to be killed. Oh yeah, and I forgot, before all this... Yamcha. I'm honestly surprised Vegeta actually ended up becoming a good guy after all this, I mean i kinda wonder what would happen if Napa came back to life one day, I doubt he'd change like vegeta did, but then again you never know. | Question about kid buu/Uub and God Ki? Posted: 19 Sep 2020 08:34 PM PDT So according to the galactic patrol/meerus kid buu received the lord of lords god ki when evil buu and good buu split. So does that mean ubb (kid buus reincarnation) have the ability to tap into God Ki? That makes things much more interesting for the future when Goku will train him! | So we have a new problem with Dragon Ball Wiki... Posted: 19 Sep 2020 06:21 AM PDT ...after years of them considering Dragon Ball GT canon, now they consider Dragon Ball Heroes too? Don't they have common sense? I was visiting some pages and my reading is always interrupted when the story suddenly enters the events of Dragon Ball Heroes between Super and GT (which they still consider). Honestly, what irritates me is that they are open to considering an anime, which obviously only exists as promotional material for a game. But they don't consider Dragon Ball Super: Broly because it's a movie and in the Biographies sessions they only consider the single page of the manga. If it were any other Wiki from any other franchise, Heroes and GT would already be in a separate session and Broly's movie would be summarized normally on biographies regardless of whether it's a movie. | Posted: 19 Sep 2020 10:24 AM PDT Which do you prefer? And why? Personally I enjoy the DBS manga much more. The fights have much more thought put into them. The story is executed much tighter (Goku black arc for example). The power scaling isn't as whack as it is in the anime. (Expect TOP 😅) And most importantly: when I read the DBZ and DBS manga back to back In the manga Goku was still Goku not some childish idiot. [link] [comments] | ||
| Won’t saiyans eventually go extinct? Posted: 19 Sep 2020 08:50 AM PDT So not counting the saiyans from universe 6 there's only 2 full blood saiyans left in the dragon ball world right? And as we learn in GT the reason why Pam can't turn super saiyan is because she doesn't have enough saiyan blood. (Her grandchildren can for some reason but I attribute that to one of GT's many plot holes) In the short term earth is generally safe because Goku and Vegeta are essentially gods at this point, and even after they get old Goten and Trunks and depending if the characters can get him off his ass Gohan will be able to replace them. But after that? There are still strong non saiyan characters but none of them can get Super Saiyan god levels from what I remember, so once all the saiyans and half saiyans are dead is earth essentially screwed? I'd love to hear y'all's opinions on this [link] [comments] |
