    After watching Dragonball super broly, the movie adds weight on Goku vs frieza fight on namek.

    Hey guys i know I'm 2 years late but i joined reddit not so long ago. So here is the thing, well i had already watched the DBS Broly movie and the scene where bardock tells gine that "he wants to protect something" then proceeds on sending goku/kakarot to earth in order to protect him from the harm. Bardock and other saiyans were always loyal towards frieza and he ends up killing them all. Gine loved Goku and I can't say sure for bardock but he probably did love him and then end up sacrificing their lives. After thinking about that i felt this thing adds more weight to frieza and Goku fight on namek and everything else that led upto goku accepting his saiyan nature

    What went wrong with Toppo?

    We were introduced to him in such an amazing way, having an equal fight against SSB Goku in front of all the Gods of Destruction. In the anime the fight ended in a tie, while in the manga Toppo even won!

    Then we get to see him saving his Universe in need, repelling giant monsters and being the Leader of Pride Troopers.

    And then finally ToP comes. He's rendered irrelevant for most of it, doing something in the background. Everyone just focuses on Jiren. When Dyspo fights Hit, he doesn't even bother to help his teammate and just watches from the sidelines. Sometimes later he gets to fight Vegeta in short clips.

    Then, there is a very cool episode where he transforms into God of Destruction after Frieza's trash talking. Amazing to watch, he finally becomes relevant to the point even Jiren stops fighting to focus on him for a bit. He toys with Frieza and throws him around using his newly developed Destructive powers.

    Sadly, what comes after is absolutely disappointing. GoD Toppo is left playing cat & mouse with Android 17. He spams Hakais which either get avoided or only hit boulders on the arena. The fight gets prolonged and leads to nowhere, until Vegeta finally steps in. While their fight was decent, the interactions just weren't there anymore. Toppo continued his trend of spamming Hakais left and right, and the fight itself is full of unnecessary flashbacks. Worst of all, the way Vegeta defeats him.. which is another flashback to his infamous Majin Explosion. Couldn't even think of a half interesting way to ring him out, instead they just wanted to get him over with. Really disappointing.

    and in the Manga? He gets defeated by Frieza casually destroying a piece of rubble he's on, being unable to jump back to the arena again. How underwhelming.

    They had such a fun character on hand, and the way he was treated was just pure injustice.

    Any ideas how to fix him? Or who could he possibly eliminate to at least leave a lasting impact? My personal pick is Piccolo, who should have stayed in until the final part of the Tournament, and only get eliminated by Toppo himself.

    Who would have been more helpful in the fight against Nappa and Vegeta?

    Earth's fighters were only able to defeat Vegeta by the skin of their teeth. If Piccolo hadn't jumped in the way of Nappa's blast to save Gohan would he have been a better asset to the fight?

    Next to Goku would we still assume Piccolo was the strongest Z fighter in this moment? Gohan was able to cause a lot of chaos when he transformed but maybe Piccolo's strategy sense along with his strength would have proved more useful?

    Is Roshi the strongest pure human in Dragon Ball? [DBS]

    Goku suspects he was training when he fights him while possessed. Roshi not only impresses Goku with his strength but even takes a Super Kamehameha head-on and survives. I would dare propose that this is more impressive than anything Krillin or Tien had done at this point.

    Did everyone forget about roshi and the other tournament fighters in cell saga?

    Remember when people were chanting about hercule in cell saga. Did they forget about roshi who was literally called the strongest on earth? And what about goku who was rivaling Jackie chun who they literally watched blow up the moon. I'm def not saying roshi o could beat cell but you would think they would turn to him.
