    ...and I mean I knew Ocean was good, but it's like almost no contest. The soundtrack is SO MUCH MORE immersing and intense and the voice acting just seems to fit the characters a little better than Funimation's. Obviously this is all just personal opinion. But after a real comparison I felt compelled to post about it lol. Anyway, carry on.

    Why did I as a kid want Vegeta to surpass Goku?

    I was a young kid. DBZ was my first show. I think I saw it first when namek saga started. I soon got to know the characters then kept watching till he end of Z.

    My question is, Goku is the protagonist. I'm sure we're supposed to root for Goku right? At least the kids are supposed to.

    And Vegeta wasn't a good guy tbf. Does anyone know why I as a kid and even as an adult wanted Vegeta to win and surpass Goku?

    I remember being so happy when he went into the time chamber and got so strong. And when he butchered 19 and 20. I never felt that connection with Goku.

    Was it only me? Who did you guys root for as kids?
