    Chichi seems more of an annoyance than any kind of decent family member. Like I get wanting your family to be safe, but she can't be so dense as to not realize if Goku ever stops training everyone will die.

    An interesting what if I thought about if future android 17 & 18 went back in time

    This could happen in 2 ways they discover time travel themselves, kill future trunks when they find out he has a time machine, beat up future trunks and steal his time machine. This what if revolves more around android 18 cause I've literally never heard this what if discussed but what if when android 18 went back she went back to the time where the present androids exist as they are. Would the present androids turn them away from bloodthirstiness (doubtful), would the future ones kill the present ones (both cause of bloodthirstiness and the present ones not wanting them here), or the most interesting and frankly the scariest one what if the future ones around at the point where the present z fighters were fighting the present ones (could be right before or right after the fight) an idea that came up to me is what if krill in ran into future android 18 who realizes he's alive since it's the past and starts beating him up and present 18 sees this (this would be when she originally kissed him) would she join in or would she get enraged at future 18 and start fighting and more importantly if it's the latter (or a weird situ a ton of the former where say a last second solar flare allows krill in to escape) would krill in hate 18 now whether deeming her untrustworthy/unstable (in the latter) or deeming her a monster in the former, let's make it spicier and say in the latter v scenario present 18 kisses him and krill in escapes both of them would krillin still like her? Would the blowup machine work on both versions in the scenario where future and present team up etc.

    Can Goku combine UI with the Kaioken?

    I doubt we'll ever see that and I remember seeing discussion that he supposedly says combining Super Sayian and Kaioken could kill him. You think UI has the potential to handle that like Blue does?

    For those of you up to date with the manga, what do you think the new arcs/sagas will be called, and how many episodes could be in each?

    I have not read any of the manga since volume 42. I've seen three key titles used a fair bit when naming new Super arcs. These are:

    • Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc; I guess this would also interchangeably be called the 'Moro Arc'?
    • Granolah the Survivor Arc.

    There have been another 36 chapters released since the end of the anime, which covered material from 41 chapters.

    A chapter does not directly correspond to a set number of episodes; but it sure looks like they've already got a whole lot of manga material to make around 100 more episodes, right?

    Do you think these two arcs will stay as two, or maybe split into three, with say 40, 20 and 40 episodes in each? Followed by another couple of sagas?

    Unpopular Opinion: DBZ’s Use of Worf Effect/Jobbing Out is Its Worst Contribution to Modern Anime and Media In General

    I mean, I know wrestling technically started this but wrestling matches are CAPABLE of making its losers look strong in defeat. But DBZ banked so heavily and so much on "the supporting cast gets ragdolled for 75% of the arc until the person Toriyama wants to win the fight shows up." And then DBZ was so successful a lot of other anime doubled down so hard on the formula (hi Bleach) that its supporting cast may as well not exist at all. I know why it works in small doses, but Toriyama using it as a crutch well and truly ruined a lot of good anime later down the line.
