    I understand that there are fewer options for battle damage now...but can we agree that the ‘wipe blood of face’ trope looks stupid when there’s not even a scratch on a character?

    I was rewatching a couple scenes of Frieza saga scenes, and when Frieza is using half his strength, he knees Goku in the face which causes a nose bleed and some blood on the mouth which Goku wipes off; if Goku's face looked clean, this would just look silly, so I don't understand what DBSuper story boarding was doing apart from just going through the motions.

    And it's not impossible to show damage- expression age characters can do it well. Not a single drop of blood in the Broly movie (apart for a tiny bit when Paragus died), but Goku's beatdown still felt hard in Cinema. Some weight and emphasis in blows go a long way.

    When did Cell ever say that Cell Jr.'s were as strong as him?

    I've seen a lot of people speculating and stating that ''Cell Jr's are as strong as Cell because Cell said so himself'', but when did he ever?

    • Daizenshuu 7, Cell Jr: Children which perfect-form Cell births through his tail. In the story, he gives birth to seven. Their appearance is like perfect-form Cell, only small and cute. However, their power was equal to Vegeta and Trunks at the time, and their personalities were cruelty itself.
    • Daizenshuu 7: Birthing Cell Jr: This is a technique where Cell, after reaching his perfect form, creates children with the same abilities as him from out of his tail that he has to absorb life energy. Cell can freely control the number of children created. Each of the children then has roughly the same amount of power and speed as Cell.

    Which is it? The manga itself never shows Cell saying anything about ''my Cell Jr's are as strong as me'', as they are only able to stalemate and somewhat rival Vegeta and be above him in power.

    • Daizenshuu 2's Adventure History: He defeats the Cell Juniors, who had power greater than Vegeta, one after the other.

    Vegito is more related to Vegeta but so is Gogeta...

    Hairline wise... This is correct. But Vegeta would very well fit Vegito in terms cockiness of overall attitude. Also if Gogeta wasn't canon and still had the all-the-time-serious character, then he would match Goku especially in ssj3 form. But, now that Gogeta has gotten silly in super its not really Goku silly but more Vegeta prideful and cockiness kind of silly. Sure ssj4 Goku was SERIOUS and COCKY but db super Gogeta reeks more of Vegeta. If I'm being honest, presently both fusions are more Vegeta-like. But back to this ART, this edit is pretty accurate considering Goku is wearing a gi which helps making him Vegito easier and Vegeta's hairline says it all for Gogeta. SEE LINK

    Just how far did Dr. Gero modified 17 and 18?

    The genius of Dr. Gero enabled him to create a series of androids, both entirely mechanical and those of biological origins. 17 and 18 are the first biological androids followed by Cell and 21, they received strength that exceeded the Galactic Emperor that rules parts of Universe 7 for years, have infinite source of energy that proved to be very useful when their raw strength isn't enough, and don't age in a sense that they are immortal.

    Even the powers of Shenron cannot change 17 and 18 back into humans, which leaves to believe that Dr. Gero altered them in a cellular and genetic level. This may not mean much but in Super before Team Universe 7 leave to the World of Void, Marron stayed with Trunks and Goten on the island with 18 saying that she is tougher than she looks, which leads me to believe that she probably inherited some of the DNA altered by Dr. Gero of 18 that makes her stronger than an average human of her age.

    Dr. Gero's intelligence is truly beyond any normal human and dangerous.

    Do you want more DBS movies or another series?

    So far there still has been no announcement on future movies/shows but what would you prefer?

    I think I would prefer more movies, as long as they are well done. BoG and Broly were amazing (RoF was kind of average).

    DBS had some really great high points (Jiren vs Goku for an example) but just felt really dragged out and inconsistent. It was just kind of tedious, like you had to go through a lot of lackluster stuff to get to the good parts.

    Future Trunks: willing do anything to save the world. The result in the end is the destruction of his world.

    Frieza: kill and enslave many races and destroying many planets. The result in the end is he gets revived.

    While Frieza is having his fun, Future Trunks is still living with the guilt he cannot saving everyone.

    Are Jaco the Galactic Patrolman and Dr. Slump/Arale considered to be included in the Dragon Ball franchise or are their appearances considered to be crossovers/cameos?

    additionally, how does copyright work in relation to the Dragon Ball franchise? are Dragon Ball and DBZ considered to be 2 different properties? thanks in advance to anyone who is well versed in copyright law and such. i imagine it could be different between USA and Japan
