    Dragon Ball Super manga Volume 9/Chapter 42 changes

    So Volume 9 was finally published in English, and Toyotarou's comment is

    There wasn't quite enough pages available in the magazine release to end the Universe Survival arc the way I wanted to, so I've added a little bit here. It's great that I have the opportunity to do that when the chapters are compiled for the graphic novel release.

    Does this mean Chapter 42 has some extra content within it? If so, what is it? I can't find any information on it, and I'd prefer not dropping seven bucks just for the possibility of a few new pages or even just panels.

    I read DBS through Viz's official Shonen Jump app, which uses the latest magazine release for each chapter. Personally I was massively underwhelmed by how the end of the arc was handled in the manga, even though I think it was overall better than the anime, so I'd love to see what the apparent addition is, even if it's small.

    Hi guys,

    There is a soundtrack from a PS2 DBZ game that I remember from when I was younger, but I do not remember which game (I had at least 4) and I remember searching for hours online and I cannot find it.

    Details:

    - song has no vocals

    - was 100% from a PS2 DBZ game

    - (very much may be untrue) I think Trunks was on the cover of the game and/or at least the scene where the song was played

    I think maybe it was an opening song, but I do not know. I also believe Trunks was on the cover of the game, but I am uncertain.However I remember the rhythm of the song fairly well, and in this clip I clapped it out. Can anyone help me find it?     It seems every time Gohan becomes the strongest he gets cocky and let's the opponent win somehow. I feel like the show is way better with Gohan as the lead but the writers always screw Gohan up somehow. That scene in super where he passed out from summoning he's power made me so mad

    ...all the Saiyans of Dragon Ball are in competition to be the King.

    One was born of royal blood...Vegeta

    One married a princess....Goku

    One is just so brutally strong he can't be told no...Broly

    They all are eligible to be the Monkey King.

    And two of the three have had children. Making the competition last longer than their natural life will permit.

    If being determined King is attributed to their strength, then this explains why Vegeta was never declared King. When the Saiyans died, he was still a child. Unable to prove himself stronger than the rest, he remained a Prince until he met Goku. But Vegeta lost to Goku over and over. Goku is technically a King already since he married Chi-Chi, the daughter of the Ox King. So the competition can remain. This plays out like a tournament. The Saiyans who died, are out of the tournament. While the living Saiyans continue on fighting. They keep wanting to get stronger, to get better, so they can fight and beat better opponents.

    And during the Cell Games, Goku said he quits, and then he was eliminated by Cell. When Goku died from Cell, Vegeta declared he would never fight again, as if his right to prove himself the strongest of all Saiyans being taken away from him again was soul crushing.

    All of the living Saiyans have exceptionally high power levels. Even the younger ones were born with incredible latent power. Several "once every thousand years" type legends are alive at once. Giving some evolutionary "survival of the fittest" explanation as to why they haven't been eliminated yet.

    Does anyone else really dislike the Pride Troopers?

    Not sure if I'll get a lot of hate for this but does anyone else really dislike the Pride Troopers? They all come across as some self righteous assholes who seem to think they are the epitome of justice. The fact that no one listened to Vados explaining without Goku's suggestion they'd all have been just erased without any chance to redeem themselves. You would have thought a band of people peddling justice would understand that.

    Not to mention the fact that Topp full off ditches justice for destruction shows their hypocrisy. /rant.

    Edit: After reading you guys responses I can see how they are a bit of cheesy parody and I took they too seriously. So I can say now I don't hate them, they're more amusing now.
