    I don't really see a whole lot of "Vegeta hype", especially when Vegeta considers himself the hype. As I say this, I'm sure someone will proceed to post multiple links to where Vegeta is hella hyped up by the fanbase or something (which would be much appreciated), but in general, the main characters are:

    1. Goku
    2. Gohan

    Now granted, Gohan hasn't really been a main character since he defeated Cell, but people still live in the hype of the Cell Saga where Gohan is the strongest, and there's also Ultimate Gohan who at the time was also allegedly the strongest and also a main character before subsequently dying to Super Buu.

    Goku has always been a main character, so there's not much trouble there.

    However, Vegeta has always been seen as kinda an arrogant asshat whose own hubris has led to his downfall. He's usually next to Goku, but viewed as an annoyance. In general, most people kinda hate his arrogance. According to some of my friends who grew up with DBZ in Asian countries (Japan, Taiwan, etc.), there isn't as much hate as from some of the more extreme fans in the U.S., as Vegeta usually comes through, but in general, Vegeta isn't as liked as Goku or Gohan (albeit Gohan isn't as liked outside of U.S.).

    Thus, when Vegeta's pride (in the anime) allowed him to go SSBE and trumped Toppo's G.O.D powers, I was like "HE IS THE HYPE!" (and, judging from the number of youtube videos commenting on it, it's clear many people also believed in the hype). Rather than sacrifice his pride, he turned it into something he uses to protect others. Sure, in the past, his pride led to his downfall, but that was because his pride was often selfish. When his pride became promises he made to his family and other Saiyans, the hype, for once, became real.

    Of course, this was downplayed by the fact that SSBE is the same as SSB kaioken, but I've been waiting for Vegeta's reckoning (super vegito and majin vegeta final explosion don't count) for a long time, and this is about as good as it gets before he they turn Vegeta into a space/ki wizard.

    Ok I had decide long back that I won't watch gt. I tried reading it but oh my go-- that Pan's character is so obnoxious and plain annoying.

    Anyways, the point is I stopped watching it. Yesterday my friend recommended me the movie 'A hero's legacy' and I can't find a proper answer to whether I need to watch GT or not to watch the movie.

    Can somone please tell me whether I can skip GT and then watch the movie. Or do I need to watch GT and then...

    Need help with a Dragon Ball story

    So Cell can copy techniques right?

    Ok so I was listening to some Faulconer themes in my spare time and I got to Perfect Cell's and I thought of something. So Cell by himself is already stronger than SSJ, and he cannot go super himself because he is not of completely Saiyan DNA. However, If Cell can copy techniques just by seeing them done a single time could you imagine how massive of a threat he would have been if he saw the Kaioken? With his immense regenerative capabilities he wouldn't even have to worry about the ramifications of using it

    What's everyones opinion on the 30th anniversary box set of DBZ, now that it's been awhile?

    I'm in the middle of Z, and I'm absolutely loving the show. Everything about it is, in my opinion, perfect. I'm watching the Blu-Ray sets, and I'm on season 6.

    The 30th anniversary box set looks awesome, but I know it was pretty controversial when it came out. What's everyones opinion on the box set now?

    [MANGA SPOILER] About the Moro fight on earth

    We know that the fight is taking place on earth right now. However, every time there's a different sort of atmosphere to the fights. It was sunny in BOG and for a lot of the Buu Saga fights. However, it was cloudy in ROF. Then again, there was a variety of atmospheres in DBS Broly. What do you guys think is the atmosphere for this fight(UI Goku vs Moro)?

    Hello, I´ve just finished watching all of Dragon Ball for the first time and it was an amazing show so I am here to ask if there are animes similar to DB? Are they any good or maybe a bit longer then 12 episodes?

    Would be nice to know if there are some, thanks in advice!
