| Theory: the relationship between Frieza and Vegeta is a foil to Piccolo and Gohan Posted: 24 Jan 2021 11:57 AM PST Something I noticed while rewatching the Frieza Saga. Piccolo killed Gohan's father and took him under his wing to raise him into a powerful fighter. Frieza also killed Vegeta's father and took him under his wing... you get the picture. Of course the similarities end there, but I found it interesting to see how Vegeta grew to despise his mentor while Gohan loved his. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 24 Jan 2021 11:26 AM PST I just realized that by erasing Future Trunks' universe, Zeno also erased our boy future Gohan after he finally had peace by being reunited with his family and friends in heaven. That just made me really sad and angry... I still think that the Goku Black arc should have been solved in a different way... That ending wasn't satisfying at all and didn't even lead to anything. I mean it would have at least made sense in some way if it lead to Trunks and Mai staying in the present (imagine Future Trunks in ToP, holy shit! Big missed opportunity). So I was just curious, do you have any ideas about solving the arc in a better and more satisfying way? [link] [comments] | ||
