Where do you think the Dragon Ball story will be in 30 years from now ? Posted: 14 Apr 2021 08:25 AM PDT Will there still be more content being produced ? (By that I mean new chapters or episodes not merchandise) How long will we be past the End of Z ? Who will be the main characters ? Will Goku and Vegeta still be alive ? I personally think (and maybe just hope) that goku and vegeta finally pass the torch to the younger generation after E.o.Z., maybe slightly reappearing like with the father/son kamehameha. I also hope that they utilise more Gohan, Uub, Goten and Trunks (maybe Pan too idk). It's quite obvious that Dragon Ball's popularity will not fade this soon but if the series after DBS isn't great the hype could definitely go away. submitted by /u/Skoualalala [link] [comments]

Goku is supposed to have slow growth rate? Posted: 14 Apr 2021 03:52 PM PDT Is it me or Goku almost has a slow power growth rate (but no ceiling) in terms of power? There's no limit to how powerful he can become, but he gets there rather slowly? Very many Dragon Ball characters have a faster growth rate in power than Goku does. Gohan, Future Trunks, Frieza, Androids, Cell, Broly (both), Majin Buu, Hit, Goku Black, etc. seem to have a faster power growth rate than Goku. (Vegeta is roughly the same, Piccolo is slower, the humans peaked in the Cell saga?) Most of these other characters trained for less amounts of time than Goku, but obtained similar power results. I wouldn't be surprised if let's say Broly, Frieza, Cell, or Goku Black trained for a year, all of them would would easily surpass UI Goku... submitted by /u/Sampleswift [link] [comments]

Am i the only one who think GT's english dub soundtrack is awful Posted: 14 Apr 2021 10:58 AM PDT I do grew up with the original japanese soundtrack, in japanese completely subbed over, but i also do like many bruce faulconer score when watching the original funimation dub for the first time. but when watching GT, everything about the dub soundtrack feels awful, but again i come from watching the GT the original japanese score, all the beautiful orchestrated part replace with some guy and with an electric guitar. atleast dbz dub score has bangers and more variety, not much variety but still bangers, GT feels like an improv from a guy with an electric guitar as he try make new notes on the fly while watching it. i really do feel this is one of the reason why gt had a bad rep. submitted by /u/TheGoldminor [link] [comments]
