Saiyans could technically win every war

    Posted: 06 May 2021 03:07 PM PDT

Let's say Planet Vegeta were to wage war with another warring planet that has beings much stronger than them at the base level. Realistically, there would be several battles and not just all out fight, and it would probably a year or so of fighting. Within those battles, even if they lose in the beginning, each surviving Saiyan would become much stronger due to Zenkai boost, and most likely a couple of them would probably hit super saiyan. In the end, if they play their cards right and stay persistent, they would eventually start winning and become extremely strong as a race.

This comes out as pretty obvious but I just wanted to say that lol.

That also brings up how odd it is that the saiyans arent as strong if they have a longtime history even when Beerus is alive. I blame King Vegeta's empire. If there were several warring nations in Planet Vegeta, I'm sure the Frieza force would lose.

Mr. Satan - Evil Kid Buu Saga

Am I the only one who started out hating Mr. Satans guts for being a fraud but then started to somewhat like him towards the end of evil kid buu sage? After he stepped up to save Vegeta and help make people of the Earth give their energy he became alright in my book 😆😆😆

Dragon Ball re-watch Top 20 Part 1: End of Dragon Ball edition

    Posted: 06 May 2021 11:32 AM PDT

Hi everyone! Haven't been around in a while but I decided to circle back around to Dragon Ball recently because I heard the chapters of the manga after the ToP and Broly movie have been really good, and because I'm a lunatic I decided to start alllll the way at the beginning again and play a little game of "Who's the strongest?" as I go.

There have been plenty of characters earlier on, but the end of Dragon Ball is where a more clear hierarchy seems to have developed enough to make a clear top 20. So without further ado, here's the first top 20 with explanations for each placement.

    1. Goku- Pretty obvious. Just won the 23rd World Tournament, seems to be the strongest overall character by a nose, and can push his peak even farther with his Super Kamehameha

    2. Piccolo Jr.- Another obvious choice. Runner-up at the tournament, base strength is higher than everyone besides Goku, and an array of techniques cements his status here

    3. Kami- Semi-finalist at the most competitive world tournament, and he wasn't even using his real body. Age has him past his prime, but a wealth of knowledge and experience keep him competitive as characters start to surpass the Guardian of Earth

    4. Mr. Popo- The logic here is based off every other character being weaker than Kid Goku circa the King Piccolo arc, and Popo making Goku look like the child he is for much of the beginning of his training

    5. King Piccolo- I'm going to count him as a separate character, and I don't think any of the Earthlings had surpassed him in his prime by the end of Dragonball

    6. Tien- This feels like the perfect spot for Tien. While I can't compare him directly to King Piccolo, but the fact that Tien couldn't handle one of his underlings tells me there was a pretty big gap between the two that I'm not sure he had made up yet

    7. Drum- Speaking of said underling, this character was able to best the world martial arts champ, he was clearly the strongest of King Piccolo's sons

    8. Master Roshi- This could be a controversial one, because his base strength doesn't seem to put him in the top 10, but Roshi has levels. His wealth of knowledge and techniques, along with the ability to channel his ki into his thick boi form raises his peak towards the top of the list imo.

    9. Krillen- I think Krillen's base strength is a good bit higher than Roshi's at this point, but his fighting style and techniques aren't as refined as Roshi's yet, so he lands here.

    10. Mercenary Tao- Struggled with this one, but his age and experience + the bionic upgrades takes the cake for rounding out the top 10

    11. Yamcha- Yamcha has come such a long way in Dragon Ball to have never won a tournament match. As the final character on the list who seems to have enough ki control to create an energy blast, this is the absolute lowest I could place him

    12. Master Korin- We don't see much of Korin's power and ability, but from what we're told, Korin is amongst the powerful beings on the planet when he is introduced.

    13. Yajirobe- One of the naturally strongest humans, Yajirobe gets here without doing much training. We know he lacks motivation.

    14. Tambourine- This is going to be the area where round out the rest of King Piccolo's offspring

    15. Cymbal- Not much else to say here. Cymbal seemed slightly weaker than Tambourine

    16. Chaiotzu- Ended up being fodder for the completion of Tien's arc, but I still think this is a good placement for him, as this next generation of humans seems to be head and shoulders above the previous generation

    17. Grandpa Gohan- Our first dead character! Gohan checks a lot of the same boxes as Master Roshi, without the display of peak ki control and worldwide notoriety as a world champion

    18. Master Shen- The weakest of the previous generation, Shen still rivals his brother Tao, Gohan and Roshi

    19. Spike- While not the most physically imposing character on the list, his go-to technique would make for fits among many of the characters above him

    20. Staff Officer Black- Outside of Tao, the most skilled and powerful character in the whole red ribbon army

Let me know what you think! Hope you enjoyed and I'll see you again in a few days when I finish the Saiyan saga!
