Characters using abnormal levels of slang in dbz Posted: 14 Jul 2021 02:08 PM PDT I started my rewatch of dragonball (in german) and I am currently in s3 of dbz. What I noticed more or less right off the start of dbz is that the characters use an abnormal level of slang. They talk like teenagers wanting to be cool. I guess that Bulma and Krillin, the two that do it the most, are just a bit older than 20? It's just kinda strange to me. Of course right now I don't have an actual example but instead of helmet they would say something like brain bucket. And they substitute quite a few words with their slang counterpart. Why do they not break shit anymore? Posted: 14 Jul 2021 04:42 AM PDT Like, specifically when powering up attacks. In the legendary goku vs vegeta fight goku's Kamekameha is literally destroying the landscape as he's charging it up. Just that amount of energy being gathered together was that strong.
