I don't understand how Yamamuro's animation philosophy could've changed so much over the years

    Posted: 15 Feb 2020 01:56 PM PST

He was responsible for some of the most insanely dynamic shots in the Buu Saga, and yet now he's notorious for doing static camera fight scenes. Plus, he's the same guy who criticized Shintani's DBS: Broly for having camerawork that that "gave him a headache and made him wonder if kids would even watch something like that." That just makes him sound incredibly out of touch.

The more I read about the guy, and especially the more I hear him talk, the more he sounds like he has his head up his own ass. Guy draws over other animators without telling them (even animators that were told they could do whatever they want), and he even proudly said he doesn't really watch any animation besides his own, as if that's a good thing. I think he's someone who was an amazing artist on the original DBZ, but also someone who clearly never should've been given any kind of leadership position.

How old are the Ginyu force?

    Posted: 15 Feb 2020 09:34 PM PST

We see in the DBS Broly movie the Ginyu force was around. Now when you think about it, they'd have to be older then Frieza right? As we see him as a "child". As well as Young Goku and Broly. Maybe they age different? If so how could many different species have the same aging length? I don't know something I just thought about.

So this may sound crazy but hear me out

    Posted: 15 Feb 2020 11:19 AM PST

So in trunks timeline goku died of a heart virus and they couldnt ressurect him because he died of natural causes. with all options exaushted by bulma I assume to help and goku closing in on his last moments... why not kill him? lmao i just thought about it if he dies natuarally hes gone and he wont come back butt if hes killed then he could be brought back. now this does sound out of dragon balls field of writing with a whole mercy killing thing to cheat the system but i think everyone in the z party is smart enough to think of this and i doubt vegeta would let goku the only super saiyn die forever before he gets his chance to prove hes stronger. Am i crazy or could this happen?

Theory on having a "body" in the afterlife.

    Posted: 15 Feb 2020 04:38 PM PST

Let me preface this theory by stating I know most every instance of a villain having a body in the afterlife is filler, this is just to rationalize it!

So here's my theory, a normal person who dies is left as a wisp in the afterlife, but a strong person can force themselves to take the form of their body before death instead of the smoky wisp.

Doing so drains a huge amount of power so while giving themselves a body allows them to interact with the afterlife staff, they are so strained they can't really pose a threat to Yemma and his men.

This phenomenon is rather recent as most folk have never been strong enough to do this. Raditz and Goku were some of the first and they were incredibly strong compared to everyone else. Yemma was easily able to handle Radditz because he had no energy to fight with while forming a body, and as a wisp he cants fight, Goku had Kami with him and got special treatment.

As a wisp or a wisp taking form you still cant die again, that's reserved for those who get a new physical body but are not alive still (Like with Vegeta in the Buu saga). If you were strong enough in life, such as Ginyu Force level, you will actually have enough energy left after forming and maintaining a fake body that you can still be a nuance. The stronger and stronger folk in hell have caused more and more troublesome souls to appear, they are still trapped and fairly weak, but still troublesome.

This explains how Tien, Chiotzu, and Yamcha were able to obliterate the Ginyu force while training with King Kai, the force was so weak from making their bodies that their remains ing power put them at maybe Nappa strength at best (but probably more Radditz level). Making the fight a breeze for the newly trained pupils.

If a soul was strong and good in their life Yemma allows them to form their bodies with no penalties as they are not going to be a problem anyways, and since they can't leave the afterlife their only option really is to just queue up and go to Heaven unless they want to explore Snake Way.

Especially evil people will also be forced to take their bodily forms, and then trapped in personal punishment dimensions were they will be too weak to fight off their punishment. The punishment is to break down the soul's will until it is so weak it reverts to a wisp and can be recycled like the other wicked souls.

    Is Broly's power limitless?

    Posted: 15 Feb 2020 04:06 PM PST

If Broly's power is fueled by rage and he gets stronger during fights as he gets more and more angry, does his power have a limit? I was wondering what would happen in an alternate scenario if Broly's power surpassed blue Gogeta, or if that would even be possible.
