    Something I noticed is before the tournament of power why didn't goku just use instant transmission to gather everyone quickly and then spend the remaining time in the hyperbolic time chamber like Vegeta did? Would have seemed more prudent to stretch the training time as long as possible.

    After watching every Dragon Ball saga, the ones that I really like were the Namek saga, Goku Black saga, and the current Moro arc.

    So I’ve been collecting Fortune Cookie fortunes the last 3 years and have been throwing them into this Dragon Ball display box - each day, I go by it and pull out a random fortune and thats my fortune for that day! (Good way to recycle!)

    was the transitions from dragonball to dragonball Z jarring to the original readers in japan?

    goku being an alien was probably not a theory considering dog people were around. were piccolo and kami assumed to be a similar kind of human to pilaf. did the change from the parody type manga from dragonball to dragonball z seem jarring with how serious and sci-fi it became and how muscular the characters were getting.
