    Defending Yamcha

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 08:21 PM PDT

Okay this is to all of you Yamcha haters .

    1. He DID beat the saibaman , but he let his guard down and it got back up and killed himself to defeat Yamcha . If Yamcha was weak then there would be no need for the saibaman to kamikaze himself . He fought the saibaman first because he was worried about Krillin . I know that you Yamcha haters have never watched dragon ball only z . Krillin died in dragon ball so he couldn't be brought back again . Yamcha did an honorable thing and saved his friend's life , he wasn't pathetic .

    2. He never cheated on bulma , remember he never got over his girl phobia and it's pratically just her taking things the wrong way , he had girls all up on him such as Maron . Who was way hotter than bulma . But he turned her down because unlike bulma he's faithful . Bulma left him for a psychopath named vegeta that killed her friends and was going to kill her and the whole planet.

    3. He has won fights , this is one of the most annoying things that I see from Yamcha haters , stop saying that he hasn't won any fights . If your lazy ass actually watched dragon ball you would know that he beat multiple people during the elimination round of the world martial arts tournament. He's one of the very few people to have ever beaten Goku ( doesn't matter if he was hungry , he still beat him ) he beat the invisible man , put up a good fight against tambourine even though his leg was injured . Put up a good fight against tien and came close to beating him . Put up a good fight against kami . He beat the saibaman ( the saibaman then proceeded to cheap shot him eve though the fight was over ) and I'm guessing he beat the Saiyans while training in the room of spirit and time .

    4. He isn't weak, being cheap shotted by a weaker opener doesn't mean you are weak . Please do your research , yamcha's power level was higher than the saibaman. Why do you guys never provide an actual argument when hating on Yamcha ? He trained under master Roshi ,kami, and king Kai so there is no way that he's weak . He warned the others about android 20 and 19 being able to absorb energy so he isn't useless . Not being a super Saiyan doesn't make you weak . Yamcha is a professional baseball player so he's well off . I know we saw him in an apartment but he could literally be the owner of the whole complex . The z fighters chose master roshi for the tournament instead of Yamcha because he quit martial arts years ago , had he asked them then he probably could have joined . He still trains in case the z fighterz needs him so he should have a very high power level. And in the new Moro arc of dragon ball super Yamcha is fighting and has beaten multiple people . I hope that all of you Yamaga haters can get this much information inside your non existent brain ,. Have a good day .

A couple of thoughts about Goku's use of UI

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 03:49 PM PDT

First, I agree that UI itself is a technique. That said, a couple of things about it have struck me as odd:

First has anybody suggested that Goku's use of it in the ToP was as a technique layered with an unintentional transformation? I've wondered if the physical changes we saw (e.g., the hair and eye changes) were a secondary result of being pushed into another transformed state by stress of the battle, similar to how he changed to super saiyan. That it was partly why he was able to match Jiren despite most people's assertions that UI doesn't really make you stronger because it's not a transformation.

Second, I've wondered whether the belief some fans have that UI doesn't increase strength is inaccurate. Think about how UI is described - "It is an ultimate technique that separates the consciousness from the body, allowing it to move and fight independent of a martial artist's thoughts and emotion." A couple of things about this:

    1. Consider the effect random thoughts have not only on focus, but also on strength, speed, and power. They divert energy away from the task at hand. Whether they are random stray thoughts, anxieties and fears related to losing, or overthinking the best way to attack someone- they all prevent you from diverting your full energy, strength, and focus to the task at hand. I attributed the seeming change in Goku's abilities to this.
    2. Think about this comparison: a boxer in his prime who breaks his hand due to poor form and attention when throwing a punch, versus a 60-year old martial arts master that can focus what power he has to punch through stone. I think this is sort of another aspect of UI and learning to move unconsciously. You're allocating the power and focus you have to more devastating effect.

Am i the only one who wants tarble to be more involved and train with vegeta or something

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 12:14 PM PDT

Alright so tarble if you didn't know is vegeta's younger brother. But anyways for those who do know who he his. Am i the only one who wants him to get trained by vegeta and be more involved. Like come he's vegeta's brother. The vegeta we know and love. I think it would be cool for him to be trained and apart of the show and arcs maybe. He's a saiyan right heck a full blooded saiyan so of course he has the potential to be strong and awesome. I hope cabba wasn't supposed to be his replacement or anything because i hate when characters are introduced and they get wasted or forgotten. Like i hope broly becomes apart of the main cast and story arcs as well as be trained. We need more saiyans it's good to know there are more full blooded saiyans ((alive)) besides goku and vegeta. He could be like cabba and vegeta have to train him and make him have that saiyan pride. Idk i just want tarble to at least make some type of appearance. It wouldn't be fair to introduce him and let us know the character does exist then never mention, and or involve him. What do you guys think? Want to see some tarble

Was Vegeta right or wrong for killing burter and recoome?

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 06:03 PM PDT

I feel like most people would take vegetas side, but I think goku had a point. They really were too weak to pose a threat, at that point even vegeta could've one punched them. It was also the same thing back on earth with vegeta, he really does know how to receive mercy but not how to give it.

Gohan was the only other character to move while shooting a kamehameha outside of ultra instinct goku, and that was when he finished cell.

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 12:31 PM PDT

I figured this out when I was showing my brother how cool it was that ultra instinct goku finished off kefla, Bc he hadn't seen it, but I also forgot how stupid that finishing Kamehameha that he finished her off with looked compared to one of the awesome kamehamehas of old, that being the cell finisher. And I wanted to remind him how good that was, so we went back and watched it after discussing it. And we both noticed how gohan was moving while shooting, too! Not trying to say he's ultra Instinct level or anything stronger than super saiyan 2 at that point at all, I just think that was a pretty cool fact I stumbled upon, purely because I didn't like how beams looked in super and wanted to compare to the older ones. Also, the older beams are WAAAAY spikier than I remembers not really a bad thing, just didn't remember that.

What's the biggest difference between Dragon Ball and DBZ?

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 12:08 PM PDT

I started watching original Dragon Ball about 2 months ago and I got 5 Episodes left. I enjoyed the series especially last few sagas where fighting got more involed and serious. Before I start watching DBZ, can you explain me what exactly changes and how is DBZ different from Dragon Ball? Thanks!

Well I understand that the sayian race cant be brought back using shenron or porunga after being dead more than a year on the DBZ era.. but you could with the dragon on Super right? That dragon got unlimited power compare to the other dragons.. I dont see why not and they havnt brought that up for discussion on Super...

Does anybody feel like Raditz is mentioned way too little for what he is?

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 12:35 AM PDT

I mean, the guy is literally Goku's brother and he frickin got him killed in the beginning of Z. Am I the only one who feels like the crew rarely ever talks about him or shows any interest in him?
