    Cell simply wasn't scary

    Like, other than being stronger than a basic Super Saiyan and having regeneration, there wasn't anything that we got to witness to show that he was particularly terrifying. Vegeta was part of an alien race that was notorious for their brutality. With Frieza, he was infamous for being a planetary destroyer for years, even decades. Buu didn't have a particularly detailed background (that I recall), but even then, we witnessed him effortlessly destroying Earth and going on to indiscriminately wipe out entire planets just because he could. Cell... I mean, he took out a city and was stronger than Super Saiyan. That's really all that was special for him. If we at least saw him obliterate a few cities via Ki Blasts or destroy the moon with a single, tiny blast as a sorta "I'm no weakling" thing he would've been a tad scarier, but that simply never happened.

    How is the dragon ball anime made?

    Hey everyone, recently I got into a debate about how the anime is made for dragon ball, dragonball z and dragonball super.

    I always thought toei animation made the anime based off the manga story that is created by akira toriyama and that toei just changes and tweaks certain aspects to their liking.

    A friend if mine thinks and told me that in many interviews Akira Toriyama has stated that he has no place in the anime story and that he only gives toei rough notes on what the story should be about and things they should know and that they make the rest of the story as the they see fit.

    Any thoughts on this??

    In my opinion they made a huge mistake putting pan on the ship instead of goten. She's just as annoying as Chi Chi. Also someone posted before that trunks should of kept his kid personality. He's alright but it would be refreshing to have another person like vegeta. Also why in the fuck did gohan go super saiyan? Shouldn't he be way more powerful in his mystic form. Even if he stopped training for years? I'm on the last couple of episodes and I'm only watching it because I loved kai. But gt just doesn't compare to Z.
