    When they were waiting for Trunks and Vegeta on the lookout they thouight Piccolo actually died and did nothing and even prevented Gohan in doing so. But Goku decided to save Tien?

    I mean Goku easily IT'd Tien and Piccolo out of there.

    Goku instant transmission'ing Cell away would have been a lot more dramatic/sad if it didn't cut to him contemplating it beforehand.

    There's many minor things like this I noticed on a rewatch through DBZ. Moments that would've been perfect if the action just happened without foreshadowing. Piccolo jumping in the way of Nappa is another thing that should've just happened, but they showed him running

    Question about people on Earth in Dragonball

    Hey guys

    So I'm fairly new to watching dragon ball, I just finished all the dragon ball arcs before the tournament of power, and I did watch the first few episodes (when vegeta and nappa and raditz come to Earth) long ago but that's about it.

    This might sound like a dumb question but do the people of Earth in universe 7 not have any knowledge about the power that aliens have in their world? I mean some obviously know that aliens do come to Earth because of Whis/Beerus and the space cop etc but what I was always confused about was that people seem to not have any knowledge of the powers of aliens (like when goku bent the guns of the criminals in super or when goku used instant transmission in front of a human on capsule corp etc etc). I know that SOME humans shown in the series do know (disregarding bulma and videl) but like that popstar girl knew about gohan's "power" but do most of the people not know especially after the huge battle of beerus vs god goku on top of the city?

    Sorry if this sounds really stupid or was answered in past dragon ball series (skipped a lot between vegeta and nappa landing and dragon ball super)

    Why does Trunks' girlfriend have to be Mai?

    Why is it that literally every major relationship in the series has to be based on people who are already in the story? Why can't somebody be introduced into the series for the sole purpose of being someone else's love interest?

    I can honestly think of only two times when it made sense for established characters to hook up. The first is Goku and Chi-Chi. Goku had no interest whatsoever in dating, so the only way Goku was going to get married (and thus, the only way he would have sired Gohan into the story) was if he inadvertently promised to marry someone and she later came back to guilt-trip Goku into it. The second one was Yamcha and Bulma. It was a perfect thematic resolution to the Pilaf Saga that they ultimately realize they had each others' wishes all along and didn't even need the dragon balls. It brought everything in the first saga full circle and tied it all up in a nice little bow.

    But after that? Too much. 18 ended up marrying Krillin, Videl marries Gohan, Vegeta and Bulma get together. The only time we ever see a character introduced into the story for the sole purpose of being the love interest of another established character is Launch, and even then, she was never Roshi's girlfriend, so much as someone for Roshi to unwittingly molest.

    Then Trunks ends up falling in love with Mai. I'm sorry, but I draw the line there. Couldn't Trunks have just fallen in love with some completely new girl instead? It just makes the universe feel too small that Trunks just happens to fall in love with someone who is from Bulma's and Goku's extended social circle.

    Not to mention, in Future Trunks' timeline, Mai has to be old enough to be Trunks' grandmother. We're given no indication that Pilaf, Shu, and Mai used the dragon balls in their timeline to regress their own ages. In fact, by that point in Future Trunks' timeline, Piccolo would have been killed by the androids, so there wouldn't have even been any dragon balls in the first place! So yeah, even though Mai looks the same in the Goku Black Saga as she does in the original Dragon Ball, she's old enough to be Trunks' grandmother!

    I'm sorry, but Toriyama could have easily just introduced some completely new girl for the sole purpose of being Trunks' girlfriend. Why does it have to be someone who just happens to have crossed paths with Goku and Bulma? I'm surprised all of humanity hasn't died out from inbreeding if the universe is that small!

    I get that was the whole main conflict of GT, but why didn’t they just get the namekian dragon balls or come up with new dragon balls to wish Goku back to a grown up?

    Unless him being younger made him stronger? I feel like they could've ended things sooner if they wished goku to be an adult. Maybe not with the regular dragon balls because of the shenrons but what about the namekian dragon balls? Doesn't every planet have their own set of dragon balls? Couldn't the surviving namekians more? Couldn't they come up with new dragon balls? I mean we all know the REAL reason goku was kept as a kid but still

    Question about Ultimate Gohan

    So back in DBZ, I can remember Old Kai saying something on the subject of Ultimate Gohan beating Majin Buu, that Gohan would not need to use his Super Saiyan form. I can't remember why though, and I think it was either that Gohan's base form was enough, or that his new unlocked potential made Super Saiyan pointless since all of his power was already unlocked. Can anybody confirm this?

    Question about the manga

    Did the original version before 2006 always contain the word "damn" because that isn't censored in the one I have.

    I know the first, like 10 are technically uncensored since there wasn't anything seen objectionable. But I'm just curious.
