    Is there any official explanation on why Ki blasts who can harm planet busters don't destroy planets when it hits the said planet buster?

    Good example: Vegito ssb Final Kamehameha against Fused Zamasu.

    I have 2 theories:

    1. In order for a Ki blasts to do it's full potential, it has to hit directly into the surface of whatever it's going to destroy.

    2. The Ki blast have 2 types: Concentrated ones, which are meant to do damage, but with little AOE. And explosive ones, which are the opposite.

    But any official daizenshuu explanation?

    Tell me your Memories of Growing Up with Dragon Ball

    Time to be positive for once with all the negativity in the world. Tell me some positive memories you had as a kid or youngin, or anytime in the past at any age that you saw and watched or read Dragon Ball growing up and what fond memories you have with the series and what it was like back then for you in your experience back in the day. This can be any Dragon Ball property, good or bad dub. It can be Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball, GT, hell even super lol. But I imagine most responses are gonna be from old school Dragon Ball Z 90s fans here in America but for anyone else worldwide, feel free to share your opinion and experience on Dragon Ball as a property and series in the past.     IMO best DBZ saga. The power levels are still in place , it's way more complex than the previous one , it draws back to the original dragon ball which is always cool and the climax of it is one of the coolest I've ever had the pleasure to witness.

    Possible Mandela Effect?

    So I saw a fanart recently of Goku pouring hot tea into Ninja Murasaki's breathing pipe. This confused me because I vividly remember a scene where, in order to get Murasaki out from the water, Goku pisses in the pipe. Does anybody else remember this or am I crazy?

    Hey everyone, im trying to get a English dubbed box set of the Dragon Ball series. I think seasons 1-5? I'm trying to get into the old show and I am really not interested in watching in Japanese with English subtitles, maybe you think less of me for that but eh.

    In defense of Goku's (dumbest?) decision.

    Hey everyone! I'm reposting a theory I had submitted a few months ago which I've rewritten to be a bit more coherent. Thanks so much for reading!

    The theory concerns the portion of the manga in which Goku simply allows Dr. Gero to complete his cyborgs despite an early warning from Trunks. Many people argue that Goku's decision has no logical / moral merit, other than giving Toriyama a shortcut to get the next big baddies into play. Was this really just a stupid move on Goku's part?

    I might disagree slightly that Goku is making a dumb decision here. Rather than Goku, I feel Toriyama is having Vegeta of all people mostly call the shots at this point in the story.

    So, if we take into consideration Trunks' plea to ensure his birth in this timeline, Goku and Piccolo (though they have the means) can't really kill Vegeta, as Vegeta is, of course, Trunks' soon-to-be father. They just as well can't have Vegeta killing Bulma. He (Vegeta) threatened to do just that at her suggestion at using the DB's to stop Gero. They need to avoid angering Vegeta as much as possible or risk having him turn against them if he doesn't get his way.

    This allows the plot to be much more strongly influenced and swayed by Vegeta's recklessness (which is very much within his character!)

    Goku's complacency, though by no means the most heroic decision, is still coming from a good heart. Though I know Goku loves a good fight, he may also be trying to keep his promise to Trunks. I'm not entirely sure if this is what Toriyama intended or planned - the text never outright states this is on Goku's mind as he makes his decision. Still... I feel Goku has just a tiny bit of altruism to his motives, even if it is rather subtle. I could absolutely be wrong though!

    I'm also not saying Goku, Pic', Tenshinhan, etc. aren't battle-hungry hotheads themselves (they really are!) Any tiny excuse to allow them to train and battle the Artificial Humans must have had them salivating. However, Earth's two strongest heroes, Goku and Piccolo, the only ones aware of Trunks' parentage, are really dancing on kame shells here when it comes to keeping Vegeta and Bulma on the same team. Therefore, I genuinely feel they ultimately get less say so as to how to tackle the upcoming situation with Dr. Gero once Vegeta makes up his mind.

    Looking for manga advice

    So I have the dragon ball super manga and am looking to get the manga for dragon ball and dragon ball z as well. I was wondering what versions everyone suggest? Someone told me that the vizbig versions are the least censored and have color pages. I see both of those points as a plus. I know there are the full collectors set of Dragon ball and dbz as well. Which versions do you suggest?
