What ever happened to future trunks?

I forget what happened to him after the cell arc. I feel like he died but I also feel like he was resurrected by the dragon balls

I drew cell from fighterz as the reference and added some effects. Let me know what you think

DBZA is great. A high quality love letter rife with Easter eggs and inside jokes...

    Posted: 08 Nov 2020 05:19 AM PST

But I absolutely hate when those inside jokes leak out of the YouTube comment section.

Did Goku ever have any regrets?

    Posted: 08 Nov 2020 11:25 AM PST

I've known about Dragon Ball and it's subsequent stories for a very long time, unfortunately I never watched it as a kid and don't have much time any time soon.

I'm quite interested in the philosophy behind the show, but am refraining from the wiki just in-case one day I take a shot at the show.

I've been always interested in Goku; someone who strives to be his best despite being gentle. Where does this drive come from? Has he ever faced a situation of regret as a result of this?

    Thanks guys.

DBS Unpopular Opinion: MUI is worse than the "tingly back"

    Posted: 08 Nov 2020 07:30 PM PST

MUI is a fine end of series form, but a lot of things with Super it is being utilized at the wrong time.

MUI can be represented by 2 of Bruce Lee's quotes "Fear not the man who knows 10,000 kicks, but the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times" and "Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. YOu put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.

Goku achieving UI Sign was pushing but seemed ok only because the Genki Dama blew up in his face. Goku has trained diligently, but not long enough to go into MUI especially not at will.

In addition where do go from there? Can you truly Master a form like Ultra Instinct, is there any purpose to the forms at all now? This honestly though goes into problems with Super as a whole but I'll just end it with this; When I watched Battle of God's what I liked about God Ki and SSJG is that they heavily implied that it is in realm outside of ours, even when everyone poured their ki i to Goku it wasn't right because all it did was raise his power level. And that left me with so much hope. But sadly with 'Resurrection of F' and subsequent arcs they just made SSJ blue and went God Ki isn't really special except when plot calls for it. And I'm not going to get into how their overuse of Blue retcons why Vegeta lost to Hit. But now I'm rambling so yeah.

Summary: MUI is too much of an end of the series form to be utilized when the series is jus in between the defeat of Kid Buu and Goku leaving to train Uub.

    The kanzenban are INCREDIBLE

    Posted: 08 Nov 2020 02:13 PM PST

Idk how many of you guys have had the privelege of possessing the kanzenban copies of dragon ball but they are truly sublime. The paper and ink quality is top tier. No english translations even come close. It's a shame they didn't bring the kanzenban into english, it looks like they went for vizbig instead but those are awkward to read and aren't as high quality as the kanzenban.

What if Dende gave everyone immortality?

    Posted: 08 Nov 2020 06:35 AM PST

My first Reddit post on this account so making it special!

Ok so what do you guys think would've happened if Guru lived long enough for Dende to grant the final wish? However instead of granting Vegeta immortality Dende, who was panic and fear stricken, messes up the wish and asks for everyone on Namek to be immortal?

So Goku, Gohan, Frieza, Vegeta and even himself?

Thanks I look forward to reading your replies.

    Tournament of power

    Posted: 08 Nov 2020 02:09 AM PST

So this will be about Roshi. Genuinely curious about how Roshi got so powerful in super. I know with age you gain knowledge and with that knowledge he was able to defeat characters far powerful (Power level wise) than he or so I thought

does Goku shaking the world of void "which is infinite" make him have infinite power or something like that?
