    So I'm watching super again and I'm at the zeno expo fights. During Buu's fight with Basil, buu shifts his neck to crack it and it makes a cracking noise. This implies buu has bones but if he has bones how can he survive being beaten to a literal pulp and being severed into pieces?

    Was the "Super Saiyan Once in a Thousand Years" Previously in Ape Form? And was there even a previous Super Saiyan before Goku?

    DBZ Anime showed the Super Saiyan of the past in Great Ape form.

    Is their any consensus on whether all previous Super Saiyans prior to Goku achieved it only in Great Ape form?

    Although before this can be answered:

    First, can we even ascertain from Vegeta's mentioning of a super saiyan that appears every 1,000 years that at least one person was actually a super saiyan before goku in saiyan history?

    With no visual from the manga, the word "super" in super saiyan could have simply been appended to a saiyan that was particularly stronger than others, and then his power and grandiose was inflated throughout history.

    It would help if there was any mention in the manga or other canon-material for words like "transform" or "yellow" or "golden" when referring to the legendary super saiyan that appears every 1,000 years. As this would definitely strengthen the reality of their actually being a super saiyan since specific details about the transformation are mentioned.

    Is there any mention of this?

    Next, if someone can prove to me there actually was a super saiyan before Goku in saiyan history we can circle back to the original question: is there any indication on whether it was attained only in great ape form prior to Goku or also in humanoid form like Goku?

    If we can answer these questions, you can basically dismantle all of GT. As Golden Oozaru form would essentially be Super Saiyan Great Ape and SSJ1 would be the humanoid/contained/mutation form, not SSJ4.

    ... they actually made a Dragonball cereal. Maybe something different for each series. The Dragonball cereal could be a toasted oat cereal with dragonball marshmallows. The Dragonball Z cereal could be a frosted corn flakes with character head shaped marshmallows. DBS could again be toasted oat with larger super dragonball marshmallows and your milk turns blue.
