    Could the Pseudo Super Saiyan be considered as Ikari/ Wrathful saiyan transformation?

    Canonically Ikari was first introduced in the new Broly movie and is described as gaining the power of an Ozaru without actually turning into one. This means it is a power up that increases a saiyans natural power. The appearance of this state/ transformation resembles a Super Saiyan with the spiked up hair and yellow/ golden or in Brolys case green aura but the hair keeps its natural color. This description also applies to the Pseudo Super Saiyan from the DBZ movie Lord Slug. Only key differences are that Brolys eyes turn yellow while Gokus eyes were white (iris and pupils disappear). Another difference is that Broly also grew in height while Goku stayed the same. However during his fights in Super Saiyan form Brolys eyes are shown to be full white in some scenes and in other scenes we saw his yellow pupils. Another similarity between both forms is that they are forms between base form and Super Saiyan or incomplete Super Saiyan transformations. I think Ikari is partly based on the Pseudo Super Saiyan. So is Ikari the canon version of Pseudo Super Saiyan? Or are they complete separate things? We'll find out next time on r/dbz.
