    Hi everyone! Hoping this update works and people can see it. This community was so supportive and as promised, here's an update!

    I made this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/dbz/comments/mw5mtx/im_surprising_my_partner_tomorrow_im_so_nervous/) and also bought a DBZ onesie (all orange like Goku's outfit) and surprised him with it! I set up my phone so that it would record his reaction so now we have a 15 minute video of him shocked, surprised, happy, crying, shocked again, and genuine disbelief!

    I was so nervous all day! It's like it became even more real once I told him! We both are so happy and cannot wait to meet our little bundle of joy.

    It's been a crazy ride with doctors appointments, applying for a new bigger apartment with a second bedroom, food aversions, nausea, emotional episodes, and telling our families.

    I want to thank everyone for helping calm my nervousness and reassuring me that my drawing was correct! And I hope this post makes sense because pregnancy brain is real!!!!

    How would you rewrite Dragon Ball Super? Maybe even some things before Super if you’d like?

    I'm asking this question because I want to start a possibly interesting discussion and I can even talk about my own ideas because I was thinking about maybe trying my best to rewrite Super to make a possibly better story overall. I'm a writer personally and have made What-If scenarios before so I just hope I understand the series enough to do it right when I'm ready.

    DBZ 2D MMO idea

    This is a game idea that i want to play. I would even love to help build the world. I think roughly this idea is something that the DB universe needs. As far as i know the Dragonball Online has been shut down, not sure if its still running. I believe that a competitive game, about training to be the strongest, would be great fun. I played WoW for many years, so most of my ideas come from that. I also played LoG, LoG2, and Buu's Fury on the GBA and actually really liked the art/gameplay style ,but anyhoot, here it is.

    The setting would be right before Raditz arrives, and each addition to the game would add to the already laid out story in the anime.

    The world - basically the world layout in the GBA games, but add many many more addition areas and quests. I think the world could be really flexible as far as enemies, quests, and zones. (i would roughly say 5 zones per 10 levels, with a maximum level of around 40-60. im honestly not too sure on how many zones, but enough to seem like a big world)

    Playable Races:

    Humans:

    - May supress battle power level

    - Buying items on earth costs 10% less

    - May study under 2 Masters

    - Can change their hair style

    Saiyans:

    - Exp from enemies gain by 1%

    - Able to benefit from 2 food buffs

    - Cannot change hair style

    - May study under only 1 Master

    ​

    Stats:

    Level: Determines adventure progress through different zones, dungeons, and quest requirements

    Power Level: acquired from training, battles, or killing enemies

    (my thought process on this would be at "max level" players would want to still train to be the strongest)

    ​

    Masters: 3 to start with (obviously adding more in the future)

    Masters offer moves, abilities and cosmetics once you train with them enough. (coming back to the WoW reference, once you train long enough doing repeatable quests for them, you can unlock more items from them.

    Master Roshi:

    technic learned: Kamehameha

    honored: Turtle Hermit Symbol (may put on character clothing)

    Revered: Turtle Shell (item displayed on back of character)

    Exalted: Nimbus (flying cloud)

    Master Shen:

    technic: Tri-beam

    honored: Crane symbol (may put on character clothing)

    revered: Fighters stance (arms folded in the back when watching a fight)

    exalted: Dancing Art Sky (your character themselves fly)

    Piccolo:

    technic: Special Beam Cannon

    honored: Meditation emote

    revered: Piccolo's gear for character

    exalted: weighted clothing: may buy clothing for character to increase experience gained by 1%

    Capsule Corp Market: A place where players can buy/sell items, such as Dragonballs, gear, food.

    Collecting the dragonballs. Collecting all 7 will be a huge task for 1 player. Summoning Shenron should feel special in game, and not felt like its done very often.

    How/What happens to summong Shenron:

    - Must be done by Kami at Kami's Lookout

    - Should only be done maybe roughly once every 3-4 weeks (dont want everyone and their dog doing it)

    - If a Dragonball is in your inventory for more than 15 days, and you havent logged into that character in a long time, or maliciously preventing people from summoning Shenron, The Dragonball will disappear from your character

    - Dragonball locations are random as far as enemy drops, random places on the map, and quests from NPCs (obviously new quests appear for them for characters having done all quests in game)

    When Shenron is summoned, all of the sky in game turns dark and cloudy. Server wide, people will know he is being summoned.

    Wishes: (to me this is the tough part, but just throwing this out there based on lore

    - to be young again (turns your character into a kid and you get a new player model)

    - 100,000 Zennie

    - Pair of Panties (work in progress)

    - Erasing everyones memory of you (resets quests and rewards)

    - Ice cream (work in progress)

    - Max level character

    World Martial Arts Tournament

    Maybe held every half year or year, but us as players gets to see whos the strongest by entering and battling each other.

    Winner gets:

    - Plaque on display at the tournament grounds of name and year won

    - 100,000 Zennie

    Dojo

    This would be a place to battle others. Maybe have ranked Dojo? maybe unique rewards?

    Bosses for Endgame:

    Garlic Jr - would drop Gohan's Dragonball Hat (head slot cosmetic)

    Dr. Wheelo - would drop gear maybe? maybe work in progress.

    Turles - would drop Icarus (flying mount)

    Raditz is end boss and he could drop:

    Scouter: (head inventory item) read enemy power levels

    Saiyan tail: (belt slot item) equip your saiyan with a tail

    White glow: Equip your earthing with a white glow when raising power.

    ​

    When a player defeats Raditz, that player unlocks the ability to "Bring Goku Back to Life" with the Dragonballs, and after the player chooses to do so, the next saga starts with Vegeta and Nappa as the main enemies.

    Vegeta and Nappa saga could unlock more Masters (King Kia) , new zones (HFIL), and new quests.

    Anyways that the end of my idea. OBVIOUSLY its all coming out of 1 persons brain and their opinion, nothing here is set in stone, and ideas could change to make gameplay better. If anyone knows game designers willing to work on this idea, hit me up. =)

    So I am big fan of DBZ since really young and I learned drawing because of Toriyama art....

    With that said I just bought DBZ - Kakarot (btw <3)

    And I started thinking about the whole universe of DBZ and time travel and what we have today as sequel vs DBGT... since Trunks travel in past to change his future at some with the travel rules what change endup changing the future... so by the first time travel that happen after Frieza change the current present where Goku survived and we get DBGT after the 10 years past before we endup with the Tournament... which bring us DBSuper and the whole new story then we get a time travel with Trunks from the future that was saved in first place.. for a Goku Black trashing his future...

    What I am trying to say is no matter what, Trumks future need to be destroyed at some point in order of DBGT to NOT happen lol...

    PS: What if Gohan(present) is the ultimate powerful in U7... the thinking behind that is with the theory above only Gohan(future) end up diying and never in present... with the Granola arc going on... it feels that hee still have not full potential lol... and maybe Yamoshi incarnation he dad is Sayan God and mom a mortal lol

    Guys new story idea for the movie.

    Guys new idea, the villain is like the head of the wicked bloodline, the race attacks earth al together and they revive the saiyans to fight back, and then Goku fights the king of the wicked bloodline. Not only that so many other characters can shine since so many other designs can be soldiers which the existing characters can fight against, so many new moments can be made, new fights, new form, new characters, and hoping for the future it can be the banner for the 7th anni of Dokkan. Is there anything you guys think could improve the plot of the movie or a whole new plot for it.

    NANI?! KISAMA!!!

    I just love it when people like Vegeta, Cell , etc. allow the opponent to power up so he can get stronger. And in many occasions the opponent told them he would get stronger than them and they still let him power up. And after he does it, shows his power and yeets them a couple of episodes they are so surprised and angered that he powered up and got so strong. Like, dude you LET him power up. You angered him so he can unlock his potential. You LET him absorb the android. What did you expect? Of course in some occasions they did not expect for him to get that much power. For example when Vegeta let Cell absorb Android 18 he expected him to get just a little bit stronger. But still, its really funny when something like that happens.

    I need help knowing what to watch now please!

    I just finished watching Dragon Ball Z Kai (the first 98 episodes). The final episode of the show has like a montage in the end of like things Goku does in the future or something (I insta paused it to not get spoiled). Should I watch the ending of the final episode? Does it spoil me?

    Next question is do I watch Dragon Ball Kai 2014 now? Is DBZK 2014 about the things that happen in the montage at the end of DBZK final episode?

    I plan on reading DB because of its length and dated animation but I wanted to know if super is worth watching rather than reading because of its animation or being a good adaptation. Thanks !
