Gohan is the least responsible person for Goku's death.

    Posted: 01 Oct 2021 10:59 AM PDT

I gave this spoiler section, even thought I am sure 99 percent of you already watched/read series multiple times.

This is most likely unpopular opinion cause often I hear blaming Gohan or calling him stupid for not killing Cell right away.

Now the most responsible person for Goku's death is Goku himself. A genius strategist. He created plan so genius like that not even his general knew about it. It wasn't giving Senzu to Cell a bad example of parenting. It's the fact that Gohan was in the dark like the rest of the team. He expected 10 year old boy to defend the earth. Ofc that plan got into his mind during the time they spend in chamber. Goku could:

    a) Train for a little bit more and gain enough strength.

    b) Inform Gohan of what he saw before he(Gohan collapsed.) Trying to unlock it during the time left. Informing Gohan that if he (Goku) would step down, he would be the one to step in.

Second one is of course Vegeta. No need to explain.

Third one would be dragon team itself which is not even a team. I don't like GT but one thing they did right was to mention Dragon Team's huge rely on Goku and Dragon Balls. At least in the anime version, every single one of them had one question. Can Goku defeat Cell? No but if you change k to h and u to n; and and a in between them, he could. Their huge rely on Goku is what actually lead to the horrible future Trunks had.

About Future Gohan and the Nimbus

    Posted: 01 Oct 2021 09:57 AM PDT

So I was watching History of Trunks for the millionth time, and then I started to relaize something. Future Gohan never once uses the Nimbus. Now, i think it might've been quite useful for transportation, especially after the tiresome training sessions with Trunks, or after the beatdown the two saiyans took at the park and left Gohan armless.

My theory is that Gohan's hatred for the Androids caused his heart to become impure, and so, he was unable to ride it. The same could be said of Trunks, who also harbored deep hatred and resentment for 17 and 18, at least at the time of the special.

Of course, it could also be that the writers thought the Nimbus wouldn't be relevant in the story again after the Saiyan saga and just ignored it or forgot it.

    What do you guys think?

Krillin named his daughter after his old girlfriend. Marron, versus Maron. Wonder how 18 would respond if she knew.

    6th universe show

    Posted: 01 Oct 2021 02:59 PM PDT

Who would watch a spin off show of dragon ball but still being canon to the original content but this show follows Cabba and takes place obviously in the 6th universe. Would you watch it ?

I know people do not like DBS Goku, but...

    Posted: 01 Oct 2021 02:55 AM PDT

    Spoilers ahead.

There are 2 scenes in which Goku acts in ways that make him my favorite iteration of the character since OG Dragon Ball.

First, we have a scene in the first couple of episodes, where it is Goku's idea to use the Dragon Balls in order to find out more about Super Saiyan God. Admittedly, the Dragon Balls being on the ship represented a huge Chekhov's gun on their own, but I appreciate the fact that it is Goku that comes up with that idea.

Much later, one of the most impressive scenes in the whole franchise was to me during the Tournament of Power, when Goku thought that Roshi tied. That whole scene shows how much of a good and intelligent fighter Goku really is, had a lot of soul and wrapped up nicely the whole nostalgia factor which was addressed time and again during Super (but in a way that was not based only on original Dragon Ball, as the relations between Goku, Kuririn and Roshi were further developed during Super). Let me explain. Goku was apparently struggling with that stretchy guy from universe don't remember, don't care, but when he sees that Roshi was close to death he showed that he was really conserving his energy and that the opponent he was fighting did not really represent a danger. He easily shakes him off and rushes to help Roshi. That was one of my favorite scenes and rewatching the series it is just one of the few instances in which Goku acts intelligently and emotionally.

Sure, there are some low points during Super for Goku, but overall I think that Goku is not meant to look as stupid as one might think. Sure, he forgets the seal for the Mafuba vessel, but it was his idea - once again - to use that technique.

A short and sweet reason why you should buy Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

    Posted: 01 Oct 2021 02:51 AM PDT

Do you wish you could exist in the world of Dragon Ball? This is the closest possibility of doing so.

That's the short and sweet but to elaborate just a bit more. Is it the most in-depth, complex world out there? No lmao. But, It is still nice to just have more of the world we love.
