    What is Gohan trying to say in the final panel? In the anime and alternate translation Gohan is shocked by how high his fathers power is but in this one it seems as if he is calling him weak. Is that the case?

    Goten and Gohan’s Potential

    Goten and Gohan had so much potential to become way better then what they were. Especially Gohan he beat Cell at age 11 as a half saiyan,obviously he's a great character but he basically peaked at 11. After that it just went down hill as far as his willpower to want more power. Goten on the other hand had it kind of easy but he could of easily became the strongest if he really wanted. I feel since they are from Goku's amazing bloodline they should of been far stronger then what they became. Lets look at the fight in GT with Gogeta and Shenron. Why are Goten and Gohan just watching instead of being the main guys in the fight. Kind of like passing the torch which never happened through out Dragon Ball Z. As kids a lot of us thought Gohan would probably be the guy but it never happened. The fact Gohan never was even capable of going SS3 is wild to think about to me.

    Differences between Piccolo, Vegeta and Tenshinhan?

    All three were Goku's rival, started out evil but turned good, they all have a generally stoic and hard edged disposition, etc.

    Piccolo and Tenshinhan especially share a lot, both are very self-serious and humorless while being heavily defined by their relationship with a smaller companion (Gohan and Chaozu) who they have died for.

    I'm not trying to say they are the same but what would you say are the defining differences between the three characters?

    Zenkai Boost Goku Vs Jiren

    While the popular opinion on the internet seems to be that Saijan "Zenkai Boosts have not been relevant since the Frieza/Cell sagas," it appears that the ZKBs have remained in use straight through to Goku's battle with Jiren in Dragon Ball Super.

    If you watch Goku vs. Jiren with the ZKB formula mind it becomes a plausible explanation for Goku's success in closing the power gap between himself and Jiren - i.e., Goku benefits from repeated Zenkai boosts which allow him to match and eventually overpowered Jiren. For each of their bouts, except the last, Jiren only expends as much energy as he believes is necessary to beat Goku in a way that would break his spirit. Jiren doesn't use his full power until the very end of the tournament when Goku is finally able to push him into it. While Jiren could have easily eliminated/killed Goku IF he had used his full power from the beginning, his strategy of progressively increasing his strength by increments of his total power as the tournament went on backfired on him - big time.

    Whenever the two fought: [1]Goku would reach the limits of his power; [2]Jiren increases his power to the level necessary to annihilate Goku in a demoralizing way; [3]Goku is annihilated; [4]Goku is allowed to recover, benefiting from a Zenkai Boost which increases his maximum power to the level necessary to overcome the power level used by Jiren in step [2]; REPEAT until [2] = Jiren increases his power to his limit AND [3] = Goku finally overpowers and defeats Jiren.

    I thought this was all pretty obvious while watching. I understand that Goku also benefitted from ultra instinct BUT his Saijan ZKB seems to be how he closed the gap between the two of them while he was not in his "ultra instinct" form - most of the time. Anyways, I'm not convinced ZKBs were dismissed/forgotten after the Cell Saga.

    That baseball episode was the greatest bit of Dragon Ball I have ever seen good lord. The bit with Yamcha in his death position on home plate was such a great fan service call back. Best filler episode ever.
