Anyone Else Hate How the Human Fighters Get The Shaft?

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 03:42 PM PDT

Krillin... he used to be so bold and brave, although sometimes a bit cowardly, he'd often show alot of confidence, even to a fault, but never stopped him from giving it all he got. Then it's like he fought Piccolo in the tournament, and he was never the same after that. Reached his peak in the Saiyan Saga, all downhill from there on Namek and afterwards. Krillin just values his own life far too much to fully embrace the way of the warrior.

Then ya got Yamcha. He was the most overconfident, cocky and arrogant bastard, but he also had alot of insight and even instincts, but every tournament was a crushing blow to him, but his ego grew more inflated, then after the Saiyan Saga he just popped and remained flat ever since, his cowardice surpassing even Krillin. Yamcha used to smirk at the gleefully smiling face of death starring right at him, but now so much as a blink is enough to get him to piss himself. If anything, Yamcha's trials in romance and peaceful city life were really what dulled him, when the man should be living like the wild animal really is. Basically like how Gohan got screwed over. Vegeta was right. Yamcha became nothing more than a wolf with no fangs.

Then ya got Tenshinhan, THE STRONGEST HUMAN, but he topped off so quickly... he pretty much became a kamikaze one shot wonder given the nature of his techniques, the Kikoho, the Mafuba. He never became a coward like Krillin or Yamcha. After his battles with Goku, he lost much of his arrogance, ego and confidence, becoming a far more humble man, but he completely lost his battle sense, always acting as a sacrificial pawn for the greater good, but never amounting to anything. Rather than fight with his diverse arsenal of martial arts mastery combined with his durability, he became a mere one shot wonder, like many of the other characters.

It's very unfortunate how Tenshinhan was treated, especially given what a prodigy he was, able to learn to use a technique by just seeing it once. If anything, his training under Kaio-Sama should've allowed him to become an even greater master over the Kaio-Ken and Genki Dama than even Goku. Seriously, Tenshinhan had so much potential, he really could've been Earths savior as a Super Human that could fight at a level playing field as the Super Saiyans, Super Nameks, Aliens, Androids and Demons.

Goku fighting Nappa and Vegeta with regards to time of the day, great detail or accident.

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 09:56 AM PDT

You'll notice that when Goku fought Nappa, it was during sunset. However when Goku fought vegeta right after, it was noon. The only explanation is while they were changing spot, they travelled westward enough to a location where that side of the earth was directly facing the sun. However i doubt it was a well thought detail and most likely an accident.

How are people able to watch the whole anime?

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 08:11 PM PDT

I just finished the manga, it took me 5 days and I loved it so much that now I've started watching the anime. So far I'm 12 episodes into the original Dragon Ball and I can't imagine how someone can sit through it all, I did the math and there's like 450 episodes total which is about 150 hours which is insane, I don't think I have the patience to make it though it all. I get restless after a few episodes and at this rate it'll take me months to complete it. Anime watchers how were you able to watch it?

Do you think Super will continue after Z?

    Posted: 01 Jun 2020 12:11 PM PDT

Since Super is taking place in the 10 year time skip, do you think when Super reaches that timeline it will continue?
