    colored my vegito blue drawing

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 09:38 PM PDT

Where did the idea behind ki color come from?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 10:38 PM PDT

So to preface, I know the given reasons why ki appears in the colors that it does in the anime/manga: blue ki is from people with good intentions, pink/purple ki is from people with evil intentions, and any other ki color is due to the possession of some kind of otherworldly ability (i.e. gold ki of the Super Saiyan).

I tried to do some research on my own but I didn't really find anything credible or concrete, which is why I'm dropping my question here. What I want to know is: where exactly does this concept of a person's ki color signifying whether they're good or evil come from? Is it derived from color meanings in Japanese or Chinese culture? Or is it just something Toriyama made up?

If anyone knows please feel free to share!!

Shouldn't ssb Goku be stronger than beerus

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 05:27 PM PDT

So beerus and SSG Goku when they first faught were on somewhat on the same level. I think beerus said he went like 70% against goku. And since ssb is obviously stronger than SSG (jiren using one finger vs actually trying) shouldn't he be able to beat him. Hell since Goku is mastering SSG and ssb shouldn't he be able to beat him with SSG current DBS (after broly) ik power scaling is retarded but it's a simple situation

What exactly made 17 and 18 good guys in the main timeline?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 11:00 AM PDT

Future Trunks just went back to his time to merk his timeline's evil 17 and 18, but in the main timeline, 17 and 18 aren't evil anymore. What exactly was it? Krillin sparing 18's life?

All 13 DBZ movies ranked? Is it worth purchasing all of them via the movie packs?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 10:15 PM PDT

Currently rebuilding my dragon ball collection and so far I've got all of Z except the movies. I've only seen half of them but so far my top 3 (excluding bog / resurrection F and trunks / bardock) my top 3 would be

    1. Fusion reborn 2.broly the legendary super saiyan
    2. The dead zone

Watching the anime after reading the manga?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 01:10 PM PDT

So I've read all of the DB + DBZ manga and I'm partway through Super at the moment.

Yesterday I watched the Broly film and absolutely loved it!

Has anyone else both watched and read the series? Is it worth it? I know theres additional content in the anime vs the manga but theres also a lot of episodes to get through!

Dragon Ball Shower Thought: Since he never ages, Chiaotzu could theoretically be much older than many of the other characters!

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 03:33 PM PDT

Interesting to think that of the iconic duo of Chiaotzu and Tenshinhan, Chiaotzu could be the older one!

I also wonder whether or not he remains childlike mentally and emotionally, in the same way that his body does.
