Posted: 06 Nov 2020 04:15 AM PST Yes, they pretty much are just recolors with small differences here and there (SSJG is skinny, SSJB has different bangs from regular SSJ1, obviously the aura, etc.), but I actually like that they look simple and not extremely gaudy. SSJ4 is easily the most unique form in terms of appearance, but something about it has always felt somewhat off to me. Maybe it's the red fur, I dunno. [link] [comments]

Has Akira Toriyama played any of the video games? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 08:26 PM PST With over 150 games for one IP, I'd be shocked if the creator hasn't played at least a few of them. If he HAS played some, has he enjoyed any of them? [link] [comments]

Am I the only one annoyed by the side commentary in the ToP DUB? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 10:20 PM PST Currently watching it again and the way they're explaining what's going on during the tournament just seems odd. Thoughts? [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Nov 2020 12:35 PM PST Also, I would count kills of DBZ characters in Super (ie: Trunks killing Dabura) as a point for the respective killer and victim. [link] [comments]
Movies or first two sagas of DBS? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 06:01 PM PST I've very recently finished watching Z Kai, and from what I've heard the first two sagas of Super(Beerus and Golden Frieza) are apparently """adaptations""" into sagas of the corresponding movies, so how much would I miss, if at all, in case I watch the movies instead of the sagas? Hit is from another universe right? Posted: 06 Nov 2020 01:55 PM PST So shouldnt there be a universe 7 equivalent since there's beerus/champa, whis/vados, and so many more equivalents? Maybe it will be in upcoming super idk [link] [comments]
Garlic Jr and Great Saiyaman saga appreciation Posted: 06 Nov 2020 03:03 PM PST Widely hated by the fans but I liked them. Yeah, they're far from DBZ at its finest but I always think they're worth a watch. Garlic Jr did feel a bit like a spinoff, what with there being no Goku and Vegeta, and the main villain being self contained, but in its own right it's entertaining and the magic theme was interesting and felt unique, because that's something you don't see in DBZ. As for the Great Saiyaman saga, it's just a light hearted, fun, goofy few episodes following teen Gohan that shows what he's been up to since Cell, and leads on nicely to the Buu saga. A nice bit of comic relief following the sheer intensity of the Cell games. I think the issue is that they both came right after the two most iconic battles in the whole of DBZ so some people may find them a bit of a disappointing follow-up. But I don't think there has ever been a bad saga of DBZ myself and they make a nice bit of breathing space before shit hits the fan again. [link] [comments]
Need help finding a BDS Broly x Fusion Reborn theme remix Posted: 06 Nov 2020 04:44 PM PST So there was this cool remix I heard a couple months back that combined the Gogeta vs Broly theme from BDS: Broly movie and the Gogeta theme from Fusion Reborn movie. I tried searching it up on YouTube for a bit (which was were I originally found it) but it only shows one or the other, I was just wondering if anyone else knows the remix I'm talking about. It's a really good remix I suddenly remembered after watching the BDS: Broly movie again and really want to hear yet again. [link] [comments]
Just Started Watching Dragon Ball Super... Posted: 06 Nov 2020 09:05 AM PST And I love it!! It puts together the fun adventure style of the original DB and the crazy fights from DBZ. Such a perfect show. Its funny, relevant, and epic and im very surprised at some of the plot twists. Just wanted to share some love! [link] [comments] |
