    It's lots of fun! I know I'm behind, but I just never caught the Super train while it was happening, but with it all on Hulu...

    The animation is a bit wonky, and tbh I kind of skip through some (ok a decent amount) of the pure filler stuff (like Gohans movie episodes), but I'm at around episode 110 and I like the direction it's gone.

    It's like they realized there wasn't any reasonable direction to take the show after the power scaling of DBZ (not counting GT), and decided to just full on embrace the goofy aspects of the show and world building.

    I really love how much they've built out the universes. The hierarchy of the galactic and universal beings is great, the personalities, the abilities, it's all great. Trying to explain to my friend who Zen-oh is and how there came to be 2 of them was hilarious.

    You don't see too many shows just willing to totally embrace going all out like that. I know DBZ had plenty of aliens and wacky moments, but it was very much a self serious drama 80% of the time with some comedy sprinkled in.

    Super likes to dabble in the dramatic, but it knows it's bread and butter is the world, the personalities, and the fighting, and it's all the better for it.

    It's hard to stand up to an iconic series like DBZ, but I think Super does a valiant job so far of doing its own thing while still respecting the series. Also the sheer number of good new characters is awesome. I could name like 15 new characters that I really really like.

    And although this isn't new or original, so far Whis is definitely my favorite new character. The concept of angels is really good, and he's such a great addition to the show.

    EDIT: Also, are there any movies from the super era that are a must watch? I'm building up to the Broly one (what's a good spot to watch that in the series?), but idk if there are any others. I will say I like the movies in general well enough, but I'm not an obsessive. I've probably seen a little more than half of the pre-Super ones in all.

    I gotta admit, i do miss the saiyan tails

    I think it was a nice additional extra to saiyans and goku espiecially during the dragon ball run, since it made it clear as day that goku was not human, even before the saiyan was even a concept.

    would be really neat to see how would dragon ball super uses tails as form of attack like a third eye to shoot at the back, probably something universe 6 saiyans would do.

    I do kinda get why toriyama get rid of them in a mangaka perspective(aswell knowing what kind of person toriyama is)

    battle dress in the series!

    i'm interested in what you like more? battle gis like the ones goku,gohan,piccolo, goten, trunks, tien, chaotzu, kuririn and yamcha wear or real fighting armors like the on in the frieza army, the saiyans or the galactic patrol (uniform)??

    for me i think it depends on the characters but i would love if goku and vegeta in particular wear different outfits in the arcs. i know vegeta just did but after training he immmediately returned to his default outfit :(

    Excluding the Z-Warriors, who do you find to be the Most Overrated/Underrated Character from each Series?

    IMO:

    Dragon Ball: 1. Overrated: Pilaf. What is with this guy? 2. Underrated: Yajirobe. He might not be the biggest help nowadays, but he did help plenty back then.

    Dragon Ball Z: 1. Overrated: Freeza. I like the guy, but he gets way too much love! 2. Underrated: Hercule. I actually find him more funny than annoying.

    Dragon Ball Super: 1. Overrated: Goku Black. I would've picked Jiren, but this guy just annoys me. 2. Underrated: Great Priest. I wish we could've seen more of him.

    I haven't seen enough of GT to give a soild answer.

    Is marcarita older than vados or younger than whis?

    This question has been stuck to my brain all week, after rewatching the zeno exhibition match and TOP I was curious to know which angel is older I know cus (or kusu) is the oldest and vados is older than whis so where does marcarita stay in is she older than vados or younger than whis?

    I have a soft spot for Krillin & Goku. I also like Majin Buu & Hercule and of course Gohan & Piccolo.
