If Yajorobe died, do you think the Z-fighters would go out of their way to resurrect him?

If he was the only victim of a murder, would the Z-fighters go out of their way to get the dragon balls to bring him back? What about if Goku was away?

I think vegeta feels socially awkward around goku

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 08:10 PM PST

Dont u guys think that one of the reasons why vegeta calls goku a 'clown' is because goku doesnt act like a typical saiyan? Unlike other saiyans, goku doesnt have or really understand the concept of saiyan pride, which is to be proud of being a saiyan. Goku just sees himself as a martial artist. Also, his personality itself is highly unusual as a saiyan as he is cheerful, slow-tempered, naive, and easy going. How would other saiyans think about him? I think it would be really awkward in vegeta's case, because he himself is royal blood while kakarot is not only a low class warrior, but also only a saiyan in terms of love for fighting and physically only. Imagine two elite saiyan warriors visit earth to see them, imagine how vegeta would feel being around goku with the other saiyans lol.

I love the gag manga bits of Dragon Ball and wish we got more of it

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 07:47 PM PST

The first quarter or third of the chapters in a very Dr Slump-esque gag manga style with added seriousness sometimes and great fights and I love it so much it's the perfect balance, the young Goku part of the series so so so good and unique and just chefs kiss and I almost wish we got more of that style, though I obviously do love the later legitimate shonen portion obviously

    Vegeta’s intelligence is underrated

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 01:03 PM PST

A lot of people point out Piccolo's intelligence and say he's one of the smartest characters in dbz, but I think Vegeta is too underestimated. It is true that his pride blinds him and makes him lose his common sense, but from the saga of the Saiyen he proved that he was intelligent: unlike Nappa, he guessed that Gohan etc could hide their power level, he learned to feel Ki on his own very quickly. On Namek he managed to escape from Frieza's ship with the dragon ball and later against Zarbon he successfully. He knows how to take advantage of the opportune moments as shown by his fights against Gurd, Recoome, C19 and he was the only one to help Gohan against cell. Anyway, some people see him as a fool because he let Cell get to his perfect form, but I see it more as a lack of wisdom than stupidity (after all, he has Saiyan blood)

Gohan should be permanently passively training himself offscreen

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 12:20 PM PST

So I was thinking about how Gohan and Goku tried making their SS form be natural and stay in it for long periods of time.. I feel like they should revisit this idea with Gohan.

He should be setup to try and do this again but I'd argue for simplicity sake he tries to maintain his mystic / ultimate form in his every day life and have literal years pass in the story since he won't be used anyway but have him achieve that goal to the extent that it becomes his base form and he can't power down from it technically. Perhaps this would alter his transformation if he tried to go super saiyan on top ( like dbs anime hinted at) but either way would give him a unique aspect because it would be something only achieved spending years to do so.

Another reason I think it fits Gohan is because his smart. He could do this and still live his current life but also allows him to get stronger in a way. Even if he gets rusty at fighting everyone knows he will quickly relearn and be able to put his strength to proper use. Plus outside Goku and Vegeta having god Ki control I'd argue Gohan has Ki control basically on par with them without God Ki since he could make a Ki blast the size of a dust particles in that fight with Tien and Goku.

Would be an easy way to build his power behind the scenes without the need of a 2 day training sesh to go fight on god power level lol. Would be more believable.
