    Thoughts on Broly Second Coming

    So I got the box set of the Broly saga a couple days ago and have been watching a movie each night. Just finished Second Coming, I really liked it! It utilized Goten and Trunks a lot, which is great because they're some of my favorite characters! I also thought Gohan vs Broly was a super cool fight, the animation was really good. Overall, good movie, very overlooked I'd say, though I get why.

    Anyone else think OG Funi Dub DBZ Goku is the best Goku?

    I watched the Original Funi dub of DBZ for the first time a year back, and I heavily prefer how he is portrayed in the og dub over most other depictions. I've watched the entire series including Kai, and I know Kai and super are more accurate to how he is supposed to be, but I don't really care. I just genuinely think he is way more interesting as a more hero type character.

    I don't think he's like Superman or whatever people say, he's still naive and battle hungry, but he isn't flat out dumb like Super, and not as selfish as in Kai. I just think he's better in the OG DBZ dub. GT also has a good English portrayal as well, I enjoyed him there too.

    I know this isn't a popular opinion, and most people that agree usually have some sort of nostalgia to blame, but I don't have any nostalgia for Dragon Ball Z and I still think this. Does anyone else think the same?

    How old is Elder Kai?

    Upon Elder Kai's release from the Zeta sword he says is Supreme Kai from 15 Generations ago.

    But a Generation typically is roughly 30 years based on human standards.

    For Supreme Kai.. There's like millions upon MILLIONS of years difference it seems.

    So how long would he have been stored in the sword? Billions? Or just like... 450?

    And if he's supremely old, why wouldn't he die if his reigning God Of Destruction dies? If their lives are tied together, wouldn't the passing of the GOD during his era also mean he would cease to exist within the sword regardless?

    Like how old is this man's.

    Second Question: He said he only had roughly 1,000yrs left in his lifespan when giving Goku his life, wouldn't this ALSO transfer those remaining years to Goku since he is "swapping places" and giving him his "life"?

    Regarding the new movie coming soon.

    Ok so the latest promo showed three specific movies: Tree of Might and Cooler 1 and 2.

    Why does this matter? Well when Super Broly came out, there was also some movies specified as well. Those movies were Broly, Bardock, and Fusion Reborn. This matters as Super Broly gave a new back story to saiyans with Bardock. As well as bring Broly and Gogeta to canon.

    So more than likely the newest movie will feature Cooler and Turles as the main antagonists. while also bringing in the Big Gete Star. My personal theory is that Cooler will be contacted by Freeza and ask for assistance. Cooler will then find Turles and recruit him along with gaining the tree of might. As for end goal, I'm not sure, we may have a Broly fusion with either Goku or Vegeta.

    What Happened At The End Of DBZ:Broly?

    So I watched the first Broly movie last night, and really enjoyed it! However, what the hell happened at the end? One second Goku and co are passed out, the next they're just on a spaceship home? I had the uncut version, but it seems like a scene was missing, that or it just wasn't explained. How did they get from New Vegeta to the spaceship?
