    For some reason it just sticks with me that Yamcha has a huge crack in the wall of his apartment. It gives a little hint that he gets crapped on in his daily life too. Or maybe he just didn't invest that baseball money wisely.

    I could have sworn king kai was mad at goku for not reviving him and goku was like "what's the difference?"

    And if that's the case then how the hell did Zamasu kill every god in the universe. They can still technically communicate.

    That arc was interesting and entertaining as hell but there are so many unanswered questions

    Blind Dragon Ball Sequels Review: Part 16 - Manga Beerus Saga (DBS)

    I'm watching/reading the dragon ball sequels for the first time, then making a review of each major story arc, credit goes to /u/Crpal for the way this was formatted, Here's a link to an overview of what these reviews include, + a link to all parts.

    Also, from now on, I'm just going to be linking part 0, which will have a link to all the parts, + a link to the first few parts and the most recent ones.

    Notable changes and my thoughts on them:

    ​

    Goku's image training - I think it was a nice touch to kind of show how goku is stronger

    ​

    The aliens that beerus destroyed - I personally preferred how they looked in the anime, in the manga it reminded me of arleans (probably because they're bugs)

    ​

    Beerus asked goku to turn into a ssg on king kai's planet - I do miss the oracle fish, but I guess this was a nice inclusion

    ​

    Beerus on earth - Why did beerus just show up on earth and start beating people up? It was a lot better in battle of gods and the anime where he actually had a reason for what he did (when you mix this with what beerus does in the rest of the manga it seems really out of character)

    ​

    Gohan wearing his gi at Bulma's party? - I don't really know why he would do this? like- he's given up on martial arts completely as shown later in the manga so ???

    ​

    Gotenks not being a joke - SSJ3 Gotenks should be stronger than ssj3 goku, and I liked how they actually touched on that in the manga instead of throwing Gotenks aside as a gag

    ​

    Champa and Vados - I loved that they were in this arc in the manga, one thing the dbs manga is good at is connecting it's arcs better than the anime (The anime goes like this: Someone shows up and sets everything into motion - 5 episodes of filler - someone else shows up randomly and sets a new series of events into action)

    ​

    Vegeta - I feel like Vegeta was kind of wasted in both BoG and the manga, in the anime his despair felt a lot more real

    ​

    Too fast-paced - This literally takes the movie and cuts stuff out it, it's really absurd how short this is. We didn't even see goku go SSG, we saw everything in one panel as the narrator went over what happened and why goku has red hair now.

    ​

    SSG sucks - Unlike the movie, the manga doesn't have that part where goku tells beerus that he hates his new power since he didn't get it on his own (Which i thought really helped the story and made me actually like SSG)

    ​

    We actually see Shin and Kibito separate - I thought this was a nice little edition.

    ​

    Overall, the manga was way too fast, it did have a couple of good inclusions here and there but yeah this sucks so far.

    How are half-saiyans effected by saiyan aging?

    I noticed how trunks and goten have not seemed to age, but it could be because they are effected by the way the saiyans aged. In dragon ball goku only grew after he was 14. Before that he looked like a child. Kind of for gohan, but we never truly saw gohan age. Just a thought.

    In DBS during the Moro arc, Dende says his own divine ki is still developing, which suggests Earth God's even get Divine, Godly ki.

    Kami would, by extension, have had Godly ki and it would have been developed since he was the God of earth for like 300 fuckin years or some shit.

    So when Piccolo assimilated Kami back into him, becoming the "original" Namekian that arrived on Earth many moons ago but young as shit.. Piccolo would have obtained Godly ki.

    Piccolo should be using Divine ki and obtaining new divine shit. I don't know why he ain't using it or why it hasn't been talked about...

    If Uub can keep that MASSIVE God power that Kid Buu, for some reason never used or even tried too when he was the more intelligent Buutenks and even smarterer Buuhan.. Had... Piccolo should have that God ki.

    This arc or the next whatever, or even the movie Piccolo should realize he has God ki and begin using it.

    I Need Help Coming Up With An Original Dragonball Alternate Universe Title

    I am in the process of writing a multi-chapter non-profit fan-made rewrite of Dragonball Z set after the Cell saga. My plan at present is to rewrite the Buu saga, whether or not I go beyond that will mainly depend on this story's reception (I do have ideas for Super as well, but am focusing for now only on DBZ's timeline). As a lifelong fan of the franchise, I've been planning this for the past few years.

    ​

    This will not be a beat-for-beat retelling of the story that reads like a professional book, script, or traditional fan-fiction. Rather, it will be a combination of summarizing events that play out the same as in established canon while going into more detail on new and/or changed events (complete with revised and expanded dialogue). I consider this fun little project a tribute & love-letter to Toriyama.

    Ever since I first started watching DBZ on Toonami around 8 years old and began collecting the manga around age 11, it has been a dream of mine to write something in the fantastical universe he created for others to hopefully enjoy. This reinterpretation is intended to fully respect his original work as well as the anime's while offering a new take on familiar stories based in my own ideas and preferences.

    Illustrations drawn & colored by me will be included in every chapter if possible, most modeled directly off of Toriyama's artwork first published in Shonen Jump magazine. All credit, of course, goes to Akira Toriyama and whatever other original artists are referenced (They will be credited in the illustrations' captions, feel free to fact-check me if I credit anything inaccurately and I will make necessary edits).

    This fan-fiction will release chapter by chapter (I have no set schedule at this time since I'm working alone, it will be at my own pace in between my job and life in general), with links included in subsequent chapters to prior ones. All I need now is a title, but there have been so many similar fan-fictions released over the years (Dragonball AF, Dragonball Redux, Dragonball Gohanverse, etc).

    It's been difficult thinking of a fitting name that isn't already taken. Suggestions are welcome, and whoever comes up with the best name will be credited in each chapter's opening title. The only rules are that it must be original with sources to prove it hasn't been used in another publicly viewable work (There are multiple websites to help search for pre-existing titles). Have fun, and thanks for your help!

    I was re watching the Future Trunks saga and noticed that after Future Trunks is given a new jacket, the color of his pants instantly changes from seagreen gray back to regular gray

    Remember that granolah uses clones yes which means because of his power and his life span when he made that wish was only three years yes what if the clone he made takes away that lifespan and there is lore to support this tien shinhan Says thing like cloning and body duplicates if any of this is done wrong and you don't have serious training you could die because you did some thing wrong oh yeah because of granolah lack of training he will die because he uses clones of him self .

    I think vegeta defeated a clone of granolah and because granolah split his power in third at best case for granolah but probably worse for granolah because he did not train I thin when awakens his true potential he will begin to die rapidly one because he could not handle the power because he did not train and two because he split his life force and clones without proper training
